B54 - Casa Azul in Burgau

Pros: The unit itself was very good. No tea or coffee facilities available.

Cons: AFTER we had paid we were informed we had to pick keys up in Lagos but not until 4pm. We were in Sagres and had to drive quite a way to collect keys then drive back again to the property. Algarve Dreams was the business giving out the keys. There was no parking near their office. There was a queue out the door and along the street where we had to wait. It was very slow progress with many waiting and only 2 staff managing this work. Then the map we had was difficult to use to the unit. We finally found it but didn’t know that was our unit because the door key was very difficult to use. It was very hard to open the door so we thought we had the wrong place. After ringing the Algarve Dream office many times because the recorded music ended by hanging up on us, we finally got some help. We did manage to get the key to work with close instruction from the staff. The key to this place was clearly a problem. There was lubricant on it to help and this must be because others have had similar problems. It was after 6:30 before we got into this place and we had to be out by 10:00am. We were very unhappy with this whole process. If a property needs you to go somewhere else to get keys let us know BEFORE we pay for it. This was a very frustrating, stressful and time wasting experience for us. We were not at all happy.

Pros: The location is close to the beach and restaurants, you can walk everywhere, plus parking nearby.

Pros: The location. Close to lots of very good restaurants and the BEACH! Awesome beach lots of actvities...including swimming. Sub boarding, canoeing etc.

Cons: The bedrooms and bed was a bit small. Two people great, three people with lots of luguage...not so great. I am also 6 feet 4....not helping here ...but all of this is just information. The location and area trumps all of this...

Pros: De ligging van het huurappartement/huis was goed. Het uitzicht op zee was goed. Het huis is redelijk onlangs gerenoveerd. In Burgau was het in de herfst aangenaam stil.

Pros: The location is nice and it was okay. The apartment was generally clean.

Quaint fisherman’s cottage close to the beach

Pros: We stayed for one night as part of a walking holiday. The accommodation was quaint and cosy and met all our needs. We ate out so didn’t avail of any cooking facilities, beautiful location close to the beach surrounded by cafés and bars. We were unable to get to Lagos for keys but made an arrangement to collect keys locally, for which we were extremely grateful

Cons: It does mention on booking.com where the keys are to be collected but I assumed this was an error, I’ve never booked accommodation that requires you to travel to another town to gain access to a property! Why not have a key pad access on the door?

Pros: Self contained, close to the beach & lots of cafes and restaurants near by.

Cons: It was perfect

Pros: Incredible accommodation, very welcoming and comfortable, with a very good view of the sea.

Cons: Check in and Check out

Pros: Typical house in the region, very well restored. It is worth it
