Great view
Pros: Great view from the balcony to the sea, very clear arrival instructions, parking space in the garage, two bedrooms, two bathrooms. There are many restaurants nearby, as well as a bakery where we got wonderful coffee and breakfast. Upon arrival we found welcome drinks! The kitchen has a lot of equipment and tools. Host very pleasant and helpfull. Beds were very comfortble.
Cons: There is no coffee machine, nor good knives to cut meat. I was woken up early in the morning by the barking of a dog from the house next.

A beautiful two bedroom apartment in Canico
Pros: Very clean and well decorated two bedroom apartment with two full bathrooms. Private parking lot is great help since free parking in front of the building is always full. Easy access to highway. Host, Debra has provided recommendations on trails, restaurants, bars before we arrived.

Pros: We enjoyed the time on Madeira and this apartament was just perfect .Very spacious rooms, amd comfortable beds, kitchen is big, well -equipped with all apliences including big fridge and dishwasher, washing machine. There was a parking spot outside and in the garage as well which was super comfy. The owner was very kind , informative and helpful with every info we needed. I could only recomend it:)

Fantastic, the apartment made our holiday and Debra our host couldn’t have done more for us.
Pros: We were self catering so breakfast didn’t apply. The location is a 20 min bus ride from Funchal so having a car would be best option as there is parking at the property.
Cons: The bus service was very hard to get the hang of and during our final week the buses were very unreliable.

Pros: The location was perfect, it has under ground secured parking . Close to bus and taxi stands.. restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. The unit is very spacious with 2 bathrooms and had great facilities.

Madeira is a simply stunning island and there is so much to do - the apartment is a great base and is highly recommended
Pros: Large apartment with ample space for a family of four with 16yo & 18 yo boys. Good size bedrooms with great storage and two excellent bathrooms (one en-suite). The lounge, dining area, kitchen/utility and hallway are also a very good size. Very nicely decorated throughout and very clean. Balcony has lovely views of the sea. There is the bonus of an allocated parking space in the underground garage but there was always free parking outside the apartments which was much more convenient for access. A short walk to a variety of bars and restaurants - all reasonably priced, plus two local convenience stores. The apartment complex is very modern and clean and very well maintained. The fllor of the communal area on the 4th floor was cleaned twice during our 10 day stay.
Cons: No real issues. The property itself is excellent but you will need transport to get around - Bolt is the local Uber equivalent, but frequency is limited - price is around 10-15 Euros each way to Funchal.

Great apartment, remarkable location and ocean view
Pros: Amazing view of the ocean from the apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. Huge tv in the living room with lots of channels. It was very nice having two separate bathrooms. I had a car rented and the location was perfect. Midway between the airport and Funchal, 15 mins in a car to both. There was also a private garage in the apartment so I never had to worry about parking. A few cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and grocery shops nearby.
Cons: The accessories in the kitchen are quire worn down. The frying pans have lots of scratches. Also, it would have been nice to have a few basic food items in the kitchen such as olive oil, sugar, black pepper etc, but I suppose that it is not a big cost. One of the bathrooms could use a deep cleaning because we noticed some mold in the sink and under the shower.
