Breathtaking Oceanfront Living

Lovely place to stay with a best view in Funchal

Pros: Beautiful new flat, in a great location with a stunning view over the ocean and Cabo Girão. Lovely big terrace, which is not in the neighbours' line of sight so you can keep your privacy. The flat is very well furnished, beds are big and comfy. The public areas around the building are very clean and well kept, with a gym (that we haven't used), a nice swimming pool with sunbeds, a few picnic tables and a big terrace with a fountain. In the near future there's going to be a direct descent to Formosa Beach, as of June 2025 it's still being constructed. Good restaurants within 10 mins walk, we especially enjoyed Dona Nina and Tradicional Restaurant. Finally, a very kind and responsive agent (thank you, Alonso!).

Cons: Not a problem for us in particular, but I think it's worth mentioning for the sake of other guests that although the building is a nice and modern residence, it has been adapted from Hilton Hotel dating back to the 70's. The flat might be big in terms of square meters, but has a funny layout with long and narrow corridors and little free space to put away larger objects, like suitcases, baby prams etc. so they don't stand in the way (unless you want to leave them on an uncovered internal patio). For the same reason I wouldn't recommend it to people on wheelchairs.

Pros: Stunning view, calm area, comfy bed, supernice bathrooms, dish- and clotheswasher in the flat, toaster, filtercoffeemashine. Its preatty big, nice and comfy. We enjoyed oure stay a lot. Communication, keys supereasy. Grocery store nearby.

Pros: Die Aussicht, die Aussicht und die Ruhe. Wir suchten die Ruhe und haben sie hier gefunden. Dazu diese herrliche Aussicht auch aus einem der Schlafzimmer. Und trotzdem ist man mitten im Leben, ein gut sortierter Supermarkt direkt gegenüber, gute Restaurants, das Shopping Center fußläufig und wenn der Fahrstuhl aus dem Garten hinunter zum Lavastrand (Praia Formosa) fertig ist, ist der Weg dorthin auch nur noch ein Katzensprung. Den tollen Infinitypool und das sehr gut ausgestattete Fitnessstudio haben wir nicht viel genutzt, aber es ist alles top gepflegt und sauber. Wir kommen wieder...

Cons: Nichts

Pros: Uns haben der schöne Ausblick aufs Meer und die geschmackvolle Austattung sehr gefallen.

Pros: Die Wohnung war einfach super. Sehr modern und es war alles da, was benötigt wird (auch eine Waschmaschine). Schlafzimmer mit Blick aufs Meer. Unser Host war sehr freundlich und super zuvorkommend. Der Ausblick ist ein Traum (Frühstück von diesem Balkon aus mit dem Blick aufs Meer einfach unbezahlbar).Ans Meer zu Fuss in 15 minuten machbar. Fitnessraum und Infinitypool zum mitbenutzen in der Anlage. Ruhebereich mit Liegen, Stühlen, Tischen und Springbrunnen zum Mitbenutzen. Supermarkt auf der anderen Strassenseite. Diverse Restaurants und Einkauszentren in der Nähe.

Cons: Das wir wieder nach Hause mussten.

Apartamento perfecto para el descanso.muy recomendable. Personal muy amable y atento.

Pros: Vista, amplitud y ubicación. Cocina cómoda, bien equipada y terraza muy agradable.

Cons: Zonas comunes, muy bien pero después de 5 días se notaba algo de falta de una ligera limpieza

Coole Insel bei toll gelegenen und sauberer Unterkunft mit ruhiger und zentraler Lage ideal zum Urla

Pros: Super Lage. Supermarkt gegenüber, Bus fußläufig. Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer wunderschön und relaxing. Der Infinity-Pool cool!
