Relaxing

Pros: The apartment and the view. Good location and restaurants and supermarkets close by. Layout of the apartment gave us a nice relaxing living space

Cons: No guest book to inform us of the local area and the general facilities of the apartment block e.g. knowing where the rubbish goes and recycling facilities.

Views galore

Pros: THE APARTMENT WAS FAB. VIEWS WERE INCREDIBLE. OVERALL WAS A GREAT APARTMENT AND I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN. IT HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. WE HAD A RENTAL CAR WHICH I WOULD RECOMMEND SO IT WAS EASY TO GO TO FUNCHAL AND OTHER SIGHT SEEING SPOTS ETC. THE BUS SERVICES SEEM TO BE PRETTY GOOD AS WELL.

Cons: Only thing I didn't like was the pillows on the king size bed. They were quite smelly and a couple of them were very flat. Also there were someone else's hairs in the cupboard and dirt. I reported this to the landlord/ agent so it has probably been sorted. This did not detract from the fact that it is a really great apartment to stay in.

Pros: Well equipped eg. cooking utensils, great sea view.

Cons: Pillows could be better, but we used ones from the spare room that were better quality. Basic instructions inside property could save on messaging. Didn’t like the 10am checkout time.

Pros: The apartment was extremely clean and was well maintained. It is exactly like the photographs and was so beautiful! In reality, it actually exceeded our expectations. Lots of space for a family of 4 with 2 teens. The host was fantastic and kept us informed throughout our stay. Everything you need is in the apartment and we throughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely return.

Fantastic apartment in a great location with a very helpful host. We would definitely stay again!

Pros: It was very clean, spacious and well equipped with a lovely balcony with great views. It was ideal for us to stay with two couples (my elderly parents and us). There is parking for a car and bus stops very close by as well as a great shop. The host Monika was very helpful and responsive. She helped us organise a hire car and also let us drop our bags off at the apartment ahead of check in.

Beautiful views, roomy and modern accommodation.

Pros: Beautiful view from balcony, clean property, plenty of space, modern, easily accessible in lift, pool (albeit very cold - it was April so to be expected). Host very helpful. Taxi driver, John, arranged by Host, was so good and knowledgeable. Picked us up from airport and collected us very early to take us back to airport too.

Cons: Ants in one of the wardrobes when leaving but we were advised by Host that this is typical of Madeira when hot (although not that warm in April so would be worried in summer months). This is the only thing not to like - everything else was 100 % brilliant.
