Lovely apartment in the centre on town

Pros: Really lovely and clean apartment. Fantastic location in the centre of town but still quite at night. Jose was a really good host ,very helpful and friendly. The apartment was good value for money and had a nice balcony, which was lovely to sit and enjoy the sunshine. I would highly recommend staying at this Apartment.

Great holiday spot

Pros: Great location and ideal lock up and go apartment. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Good value and close to all amenities.

Cons: Honestly, nothing to dislike.

May time

Pros: Reasonably quiet, useful balcony,,easy access to shops,restsurants etc.

Cons: The method of booking in was not explained. We had to eventually ring the owner to come and let us in to the building and give us the keys. The apartment door lock was broken and had to be replaced next day.This was done promptly after owner was notified.Some explanation on the operation of the induction hob would have been useful in the apartment documentation provided.

Pros: We stayed at Jose's place for 10 days and we had a wonderful time. The flat was very clean and comfortable, fully equipped with a washing machine, a hair dryer, an iron, a smart TV and a coffee maker. The bathroom had a spacious shower with excellent water pressure. The flat had a large balcony with sea view. The flat was on the last floor but was accessible by a fast lift. The location was excellent - there was a bus stop right in front of the building. The area was full of great restaurants and cafes. There was also a supermarket within a walking distance. Jose was a great host. He met us when we arrived and showed us around the flat. When we had a problem with the coffee maker, Jose bought a new one and brought it to us the next day. If we ever come back to Funchal, we would stay at Jose's. We definitely recommend Jose's place.

Pros: The apartments were spacious, clean, and had a large balcony. The host was friendly and helpful with all questions 👌

Cons: It was a little difficult to turn on the washing machine. Parking is on the territory of the house, it is private but there is not always a free place to park the car.

Pros: Nice, clean, well-equipped apartment with large bathroom in a quiet location. There is a supermarket nearby.

Good option a bit out of Funchal

Pros: The apartement had everything we needed, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom was renowated recently. For the people the flat would be a little crowded, but for two it was ok.

Cons: The balcony didnt have any roof, when there was rain at night some water stayed and didnt drain. Sometimes all the parking spaces are taken and u have to park on the street.

Well-equipped, clean apartment, very kind host

Pros: The host was incredibly nice, we also got some welcome presents. The apartment was well-equipped, clean and has private parking for free. The city centre is 10 minutes by car or bus.

Practical for overnighting, when the main goal of your visit is to go out to places.

Pros: The apartment was clean and easy to keep it clean. The washing machine has a 15 min fast program, very useful!

Cons: The door lock tricked us 2 times. In such cases the key just won't turn in the lock, but if you keep trying, after a couple minutes it will start working. The main view from the balcony is 100 similar balconies. An air conditioner in the neighborhood gave a constant screaming noise day and night.

Excellent location and facilities

Pros: Very nice Apartment, everything looked great and was available incl. washing machine and detergent, drying clothes especially on rainy days after hiking. Kitchen had everything and was good. Bath was so clean and new, comfortable bed and nice balcony. Great location.

Cons: The bath drain was bit slow
