Machico center w/ terrace 5 min beach

Pros: We had a lovely time in Machico. The location is superb, and a beautiful beach is within walking distance. The host provided a thorough guide for check-in, which was very helpful. The apartment is a great size for 2 guests. Kitchen facilities are good quality and clean. Wifi is of good quality. There are regular buses to Funchal (Bus stop a 10 minute walk away from the apartment), however, there is lots of room for car parking. I would recommend renting a car to explore Madeira. Buses do not accept debit/credit card.

Cons: Bathroom ventilation is not perfect, and so the bathroom has an odd smell. This smell does not carry into the rest of the apartment.

Very enjoyable and we would return again if we were visitig Machico.

Pros: The location was perfect with nice views from the roof terrace. There was very little traffic noise and the apartment had everything we required during our short stay. It was close by to the bus station, supermarket, restaurants and the sea.

Cons: Initially on the internet I had difficulty determining which house it was on the street. I had just changed my phone sim card on the day of the holiday... and being older perhaps made it more difficult!

Pros: Very nice place, spacious great facilities would recommend for any occasion. Roof was fantastic could see the stars 🤩⭐✨

Nice apartment with great location

Pros: The apartment was really nice, in a great location just a few minutes walk from everything. It’s also close to free public parking, and we always found a spot, which was a huge plus. We really enjoyed having dinners on the terrace with its beautiful view, especially at sunset. The check-in and check-out process was super easy.

Cons: Honestly, we loved everything about it

All in all this is a great place to stay!

Pros: A big apartment at a great location near the beach. It has a large kitchen, which is quite nice and we used it for preparing our breakfast and lunch, even though we did not need the oven or stove, it was nice to have the big fridge. Located very close to a local supermarket. The terrasse on the roof was great! There is a public and free parking lot just around the corner.

Cons: It was not possible to close the door to the bathroom. My friend and I didn’t mind too much, but if you come as a couple you might find this a bit uncomfortable.

Wonderful and well located

Pros: We loved the location it was perfect. The terrace was fabulous and had a great view. The kitchen facilities and shower were also great.

Cons: The mattress was particularly firm. This was personal preference however

Pros: Good communication from the host before arrival, easy to find with directions provided. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Terrace was great, lovely views. Location was perfect - close to the beach, airport and shops. Thank you for our stay :)

Awesome stay close to the centre of Machico

Pros: The location is great, close to everything. The directions and instructions we got a few days before we arrived were very detailed and helpful. The terrace looks like a great spot to relax on a sunny day. :-) There was some water damage on the wall in the bathroom which the landlord told us will get fixed. It didn't affect our stay too much as we only stayed for one night. I would stay here again.

Pros: Lovely balcony and great location. It is a short walk to the downtown, restaurants, the waterfront and grocery stores.

Cons: The bathroom stayed damp for hours. With no bathroom window the exhaust fan needs to be bigger.
