Would be very happy to return to the same apartment on another occasion.

Pros: Just right for me. I wanted to do some writing and it had everything I needed. I liked the town, despite the lack of a good shop. I swam at Caheta most days. I liked the external covered area and the rooftop seating area, especially when the sun came up.

Cons: No heating, and in January there were occasions when this would have been pleasant. And after 40 years of duvets I didn’t like the sheets and blankets on the bed(s).

We enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Excellent quiet location, lovely restaurants and bars nearby.

Cons: The ground floor apartment is quite dark.

Great stay, enjoying ocean’ sounds

Pros: Maresia’s house is (literally) bananas! Everything inside was perfectly cleaned and nice. The host was very kind, making sure that everything was perfect. The solarium is a real treasure: surrounded by bananas, it’s calm and quiet for breakfasts and perfect for stangazing at nights. And if you are lucky enough, you will hear the unique Cagarro’s bindsongs. Lose yourself among the trees in \

Just the way we imagined it

Pros: Great location, some restaurants near by, quiet place, just the way we like it,

Cons: Not so much for the place itself, but about tourist rules in Madeira, the Host could have explained everything in the beginning (what paperwork required, fees etc.), rather than discovering bit by bit every day. Again, it was nothing to upset our stay, just a little thing to improve.

Resting house

Pros: The property is close to the ocean and is very quite. Close was a waterfall - fantastic noise. Good terrace with ocean view.

Cons: Closely there is no market, no coffee shop, no pasteria. It is true there are several restaurаnts, serving wonderful and testy food, but opened after 10 am. At the property 9you will find everything for your stay, except coffee machine.

Pros: Loved the location, it felt calm and relaxed but you could still get good local food around. Also the promenade was very close by and our terrace was superb!

Cons: Just little things, our mattress was not as comfortable and I wish we had space to hang our wet clothes under the roof. The weather gets quite unpredictable on Madeira so our clothes got soaked from rain multiple times.

Wonderful stay in a lovely apartment, close to the sea and restaurants.

Pros: The apartment is in a small village, close to the sea, and in the midst of a banana plantation. It is large and spotlessly clean, and has a huge private terrace (if you have the apartment on the first floor, another smaller apartment is on the ground floor). The village has several wonderful restaurants. Supermarkets are a little bit further off. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and are sure to come back!

Cons: This has nothing to do with the apartment - but when we were there (january) it was not possible to swim at the beach due to high waves. Instead we went to Ponta del Sol, a few kilometers away, where there is an artifical beach.

amazing terace, lovely place, very kind host

Pros: great location, next to the beach, enormeus terace with fantastic view and soraunding, big rooms, complimentaries inside, clean, evrything you need in the kichen, great walkin shower, towels for the beach, the host was very kind and friendly, she helped with what ever we needed, gave good advice about sightseeing informations we asked

Pros: accommodation and location exceeded our expectations, great place, everything worked perfectly, communication with Veronica - great and very pleasant, I can highly recommend
