Pereira Place

Great value for money, enjoyable stay

Pros: The location was ver hm nice to visit Sao Vicente, and do some hikes. We even did one without a car - just walking in the area. Good restaurants on the beach! Apartment is very well organized, we found everything we needed. The host is very nice and check in was smooth. So overall great value for money !

Excellent stay in a very comfortable appartement in an ace location on the island.

Pros: Pereira Place is a fabulous appartement. It's location in the middle of the north coast makes access to areas to the east, west and centre of the island easy. It is located in a charming village, with supermarket, cafes and bank 2-5 minutes walk away. There is an easy 10 minute walk through a park to the coast, where there are cafes, restaurants and a wonderful view of the sea. The appartement is very well-equiped, clean, with comfy beds and balconies front, middle and rear. Villagers are very friendly, and make you feel like a local. We expected cooler, cloudier and rainier weather than in the south, but were lucky to have sunshine and temperatures around 23-24C in February. Filipe was very helpful.

Perfect place to stay in Sao Vicente

Pros: Everything was perfect. The owner is so nice and helpful. It is easy to park near by and the apartment is big, clean and modern

Pros: The apartment was great, with everything we needed, super clean and organized. It was a very pleasant experience and it's clear the host really cares about the details. It's in the middle of the (very quiet and idyllic) village which is very convenient with a big grocery shop and some restaurants nearby (we really liked the Ferro Velho restaurant!). We would come back again.

Cons: Something we mentioned to the host and he agreed, is that the local fee of 2 euro per person and night that we had to pay in cash should be mentioned in the property page in Booking, or even better, included in the price. I'm sure they can sort that out soon as nobody likes to pay surprise fees.

Good appartment located in a beautiful area

Pros: Beautiful area and perfect location to travel from. The appartment has all necessary utilities/facilities, however the kitchenette is a bit cramped. Filipe is a very good host and is very responsive

Cons: There was quite a lot of noise on the street below the appartment, also during the night, with cars running stationary in front of the building

Perfect place

Pros: The apartment is very beautiful and decorated with great taste. It has two bathrooms, two balconies with views of the mountains and even a patch of ocean. The internet works very well, the kitchen is fully equipped (it doesn't have an oven, but there is a microwave), and the beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect: just 5 minutes from the beach and the promenade/restaurants, and in the center of the town, near the shops, restaurants, and the central square. We really loved it.

Cons: We liked everything.

Pros: The location was great for us, as it was great for hikes and was quiet in the evenings. Balcony was great too. The bed was comfortable.

Cons: There was only a fan to keep cool in the evenings (although air con is not mentioned in the listing so it is to be expected). The kitchen is small but suitably stocked.

Nice

Pros: Nice place. Sea and restaurants on walking distance. Nice and helpful people.

Cons: Little bit noisy. Smaller than expected.

Pros: Safe, clean, comfortable, all you could need or want, good wifi connection, close to buses
