Pros: Truly outstanding hosts. They gave us the most welcoming reception and their daily attention to our comfort was amazing while maintaining our privacy. Incredible location, tasteful living spaces, and spot-on off-guidebook recommendations to some fantastic local gems made this stay unforgettable above all others. Thank you, already planning our return!

Great apartment with fantastic owners

Pros: Nice and comfy apartment. The owners are really great. They also made the couch ready for sleeping, and we got a fresh papaya from their garden.

Cons: The wifi didn't work very well. It was quite unstable, and there was no mobile network either inside the apartment. The Bed and the shower are not made for tall people (2m). Unfortunately, all of the restaurants and bars nearby were closed during our stay because it was the off-season.

Just the best place on Madeira

Pros: Everything is just perfect here. Owners are exceptionally nice people, they shared with us some fruits from their garden, gave us a bottle of wine and small souvenir as a gifts for a good memories of this place. Location is right near the ocean coast, and the house is comfortable, nice and really cozy. That's why it was already second time of staying here for me and, I hope, not the last one 😊

We enjoyed it immensely

Pros: It is a very attractive apartment, with a nice patio. and beautiful garden. We received a very warm welkome. The host is very friendly and can give many tips for exploring the area. There is a beautiful garden and a sea view. There is a nice restaurant at 2 minutes walk away.

Pros: By far one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in. 5min to a nice and lively local bar that does great food right on the sea front. There was also amazing natural rock pools and the black sand beach in walking distance. Patricia and her husband were the kindest host we ever had. We have never felt more welcome and they really showed us what country life is like in maderia. They were extremely responsive too. The house was spotless and we would really recommend anyone to stay here.

Pros: nice location by the ocean, easy to explore the north coast of the island. Hosts were extremely helpful with suggestions for local restaurants, and things to do, left us wine and fresh fruit.

Cons: Weather was unseasonably cold, but the host provided heater and extra blankets.

Pros: Wir haben uns im Lazy Lizard mit gut ausgestatteter Küche, kleinem Garten und Meerblick sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Host hat uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen und gleich Früchte aus dem eigenen Garten probieren lassen. Täglich hat er uns mit besonderen Ausflugs- und Restauranttipps versorgt und bei jeder Frage sofort geholfen.

Cons: Vier Tage waren zu kurz für diese schöne Gegend!
