Very nice house with all amenity’s set in beautiful surroundings. Set very close to Pico Ruivo

Pros: The property was set in a beautiful location. Perfect for hiking and also easy access to Pico Ruivo

Cons: The parking situation in the surrounding area was terrible. The parking at the property wasn’t great either with a very steep slope making entry and exit tricky.

A calm, peaceful location perfect for an escape

Pros: A beautiful wooden cabin/villa high in the hills of Santana. 30 seconds walk from a lovely hike through the Unesco Laurissilva Forest. The Villa had everything we needed for our 4 night stay and was a great place to reset and recharge. Big thanks to everyone at Madeira Sun Travel :)

Pros: We loved it here. Very peaceful up in the mountains. Well equipped kitchen. There are no bars, shops or restaurants within walking distance but the big supermarket in Santana is only 10 minutes drive. Excellent location for hiking.

Next time again here!

Pros: The flair of the old building, very spacious. The new installed AC did a very good job in heating the house it was really cozy. enough hot water, enough pressure, no problem at all ( but of course only person at a time showering).. Garden was also top! We really enjoyed the stay! Also top, that the waste is being separated! Billard table also top! And thanks for the welcome present!

Cons: It was not a problem, but the beds could be a bit softer and our stay a bit longer ;)

We loved our stay in this beautiful authentic wooden house

Pros: Beautiful surroundings, a large cozy and authentically decorated house, and fully equipped. We loved our stay, it was peaceful and the owner came to help us when we experienced an issue, that was much appreciated.
