Ocean View Cottage

Fantastic ocean view

Pros: Fantastic ocean view, very equipped, the rustic house amd the calm environment, nice staff with welcome fruit qnd drinks, the sound of the stream next to the house

Cons: Lack of coffee capsule, steep car park, low headroom, but for us it was OK, proposal: heated pool

Pros: The house has everything for a comfortable stay. There is everything you need for a barbecue. Good owner of the house. A wonderful view.

We loved it and extended our stay would deffo book again

Pros: The property is charming - full of little loving touches and artistic choices that create warmth and welcome. It’s not a sleek posh hotel but rustic, homely and delightful. The views are amazing, the sun room tranquil and the pool, barbecue, garden unbeatable - inside is bijoux but cosy and workable

Cons: The steep slopes to park and enter are deffo not fit the faint hearted. And the stairs to the bedroom only for fit and agile but we in our 60s we’re fine

Grand...we will return!

Pros: This is a wonderful property in an exquisite place.....views etc. It is idiosyncratic, which would not suit everyone, but it is great. The hills are steep and a car is advisable. The cooking facilities are small but more than adequate and there are sharp, workable knives....often a rarity! The gifts and small touches are thoughtful. They want you to have a good visit.

Cons: Nothing really....extra towels maybe.....

Pros: Der Ausblick ist großartig, der Garten und die Terrasse sind uneinsichtig, das Häuschen ist urig. Es gibt einen Ölradiator und einen Heizlüfter (nicht gleichzeitig einschalten, auch nicht mit dem Wasserkocher). Sollte der Herd nicht funktionieren: Sicherung raus und wieder rein.

Cons: Es liegt an der einzigen, sehr steilen Straße nach Rabacal. Morgens sehr zeitig viel Verkehr. Sehr nahe leben mindestens drei Hunde, die fast immer kläffen und die Pumpe des Swimmingpools ist auch recht laut (die liese sich vielleicht abstellen). Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war z.T. nicht hilfreich. Im Inneren ist das Häuschen recht dunkel.

Wenn das Bett weicher gewesen wäre dann perfekt.

Pros: Ausblick, Terrasse mit Garten, Lage, Einsamkeit, privater Riesen Parkplatz

Cons: Das Bett war hart. Sehr kleiner Aufgang mit schmaler steiler Treppe zum Schlafzimmer (auf dem Bild links hinter der Couch)

Un bijou

Pros: Un cottage à la décoration authentique, avec une vue incroyable, une pièce véranda à l étage qui permet de profiter de ce panorama exceptionnel au chaud, le soir.

Cons: Si vous aimez la modernité passez votre chemin....

Erg mooi uitzicht over Arco de Calheta en de oceaan

Pros: Prachtige ligging op ruim 500m hoogte, uitzicht over de zee. Veel ruimte buiten om het huis om buiten te zitten, met zwembad, BBQ, hangmat, tuin. Zeer ruime slaapkamer en kamer net prachtig uitzicht. Ideale ligging om de omgeving te verkennen. Prachtige zinsondergangen.

Cons: Geen goede stoelen om in de keuken comfortabel te kunnen zitten, ruimte benedenverdieping beperkt. Weg naar supernarkt behoorlijk steil, en lange oprit nog veel steiler (geschat 30% helling..): auto onderaan geparkeerd oprit laten staan hetgeen geen probleem is

Pros: Vista do solarium e a piscina. Estilo rústico da Habitação.

Cons: Acesso ao primeiro andar muito apertado.

Prachtige plek om bij mooi weer van uitzicht te genieten en buiten te zitten, maar minder geschikt voor slecht weer.

Pros: Locatie, uitzicht, en mogelijkheid binnen en buiten te zitten.

Cons: Bij koud weer geen verwarming in huis dus vrij fris.
