Pros: Beautiful place, hardwood floors and large window fronts with a great view over the Bay Area
Cons: Getting to the place requires some driving skills on narrow roads, but if you got used to it it is fine. Using the highway also gets you quickly into town.

Exceptional views and comfortable stay
Pros: We loved our stay in the Countesses villa, it was really home from home for the duration of our holiday in Madeira. There are even toys and puzzles for younger children. It is ideally situated to explore the whole island. The bedrooms are very spacious and the beds were comfortable. What makes this villa extra special is the amazing views of the surrounding hills and ocean from the bedrooms, living room and the balconies. The villa is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, so practical for families. As we rented a car for our stay, we also made use of the parking space. We also really liked that the host/owner respected our privacy.
Cons: Everything was great. As other reviews also mentioned the kitchen could be a little bit better equipped, but overall it was fine, so this is really just a suggestion for improvement.

Pros: A very nice and great house with all that u need inside and with an wonderfull view from the hill and parking near house near the gate then without to be scared that somebody will damage it .. Very spacious with big beds , 3 rooms / 2 with big beds and 1 for childrens +2 big bathrooms 1 with big bathtub with jacuzzi function +shower and toilet and other bathroom with big shower + toilet + wasching machine and dryer machine ...
Cons: One little minus is missing on nice terrace the grill because to grill there meat and with that view ...would be just wonderfull

amazing views
Pros: great apartment for families, with much space, many new facilities. had a dedicated street parking spot. tidy and comfy place.
Cons: we had mosquitos attacking us at night, would be good to have some netting on the windows? also ants attacked our pasteis de nata :(

comfortable and big apartment
Pros: Very good stay in comfortable apartment with ocean view. Nice landlady, very close to road R101, a great base for exploring the entire island, parking space, WiFi.

brilliant view and the area is so quiet
Pros: great view, what a balcony wake up in the morning and have that seaview. great condition for a family of 6 and plenty of space for playing and a nice set for a barbacue. we recommend to stay in this house. the hostage are amazing and really give us a warm welcome.

Pros: Mooi bovenhuis met veel ruimte. Grote slaapkamer met verwarming/airco (enige kamer die dit heeft trouwens). Vriendelijke verhuurders en flexibel qua in- en uitchecken.
Cons: Eetkeuken is vrij klein en meteen naast ingang. Geen geweldige uitrusting als je zelf wil komen en spullen verouderd. Op het oog schoon maar bijvoorbeeld in en onder de bank vol met etensresten en vuil. Ver weg van boodschappen als je heen auto hebt.

Ruim schoon appartement met prachtig uitzicht
Pros: Erg ruim appartement met een enorm groot balkon en prachtig uitzicht. Zeer schoon en de keuken is compleet ingericht met o.a. een Dolce Gusto, waterkoker, oven, magnetron en vaatwasser. Het appartement heeft 3 ruime slaapkamers met erg goede bedden en 2 grote badkamers Het is nog veel mooier dan op de foto's dus we waren aangenaam verrast! Erg vriendelijke en behulpzame host. Bij aankomst lag er fruit en stond er een fles water en frisdrank klaar. De weg ernaartoe is wat smal en steil, zoals eigenlijk op heel Madeira, een auto is noodzakelijk. Grote supermarkten en winkels zijn binnen 10 minuten bereikbaar. Mooi rustig gelegen en Funchal ligt op 20 minuten rijden. We komen hier zeker een keer terug!

Skvělé místo, s úžasně velkými pokoji pro celou rodinu a nádherným výhledem!
Pros: Skvělé místo na mnohodenní pobyt. Krásné velké pokoje, nábytek starší ale nádherný masivní. Spousta místa, 2 koupelny, vířivá vana, kuchyňka. Krásný balkon s vyhlídkou na moře a okolí, romantické západy slunce jak z filmu. Do 200m restaurace s dobrým jídlem. Majitelka velmi dobře komunikovala předání klíče, poslala možnosti kde se najíst, a připravila dokonce malé pohoštění (banány a místní limonádu). Že místo není úplně u moře, když všichni mají auto, vůbec nevadí. Rádi se někdy vrátíme.
