Casa de Feria do Livramento

Pros: This house is located in Monte -above Funchal and can be reached by little narrow, steep and curvy roads. We had access to 2 bedrooms (we used one), large living room, well equipped kitchen, 3 bathrooms, garage and bbq area. It can sleep up to 6/8 ppl so it can be a good bargain for a large group. It s mostly quiet but I would still recommend earplugs, if you are a light sleeper. The house is a little worn but generally clean. It has everything- and enough of it -you may need. Even little things like coffee filters and enough rubbish bags and tablets for a diswhasher. Our host, who lives next door, kindly welcomed us with a bottle of water, bottle of wine and cookies on the arrival.

Cons: Our stay was mostly ok. I found it however hard to get some fresh air in, as I was litte afraid of the insect coming in and somehow, there was no airflow/wind during our stay, so it felt a bit stuffy at times. We had a little unpleasant experience the first evening/morning when I found couple of roaches in the kitchen. But the situation was quickly addressed (strong bug spray+ additional protection for the entryways). The host was empathethic and offered a full refund in case we wanted to leave, as well the reassurance that the problem is not with the house but simply a common thing in Madeira. Beautiful, large house set in the mountains!

Pros: A beautiful, large house with plenty of space set in the mountains overlooking Funchal. Be aware the drive up is narrow & hilly but the house is awesome! Huge garage to store the rental car, 2 big bedrooms which could accommodate up to 8 people and 3 bathrooms (including one in the garage). Jose was super helpful throughout! We loved our stay here.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Really nice and spacious house, large livingroom, bedrooms kitchen etc. Comfortable beds, house has everything you need, even BBQ zone and private garage. Friendly host, can't say bad word about the stay, we really enjoyed our stay overthere.

Cons: House at the end of dead-end residential road and the road is uphill with sharp narrow corners. But good driver will be ok to drive there :)

Would love to come back again!

Pros: - host is very nice - 3 bathrooms on 3 floors, very convenient! - own garage inside the house, pretty narrow entrance but we didn’t have a problem - fully equipped kitchen - garden and bbq area with dining table, functional - supermarket within 10min walk, way back is pretty steep but possible - rare location in Madeira with access to public transportation line nearby - smartTV with PrimeVideo subscription- hence programs in your own language if needed

Cons: Nothing like it, just a few points to keep in mind - road to apartment is steep and narrow, not for a newbie driver :) - 3 of 4 mattresses are pretty hard but we slept well

Pros: Good location and nice view, clean, garage, quiet place, very easy to get anywhere on the island

Wygodne mieszkanie dla rodzin.

Pros: Dom dobrze wyposażony. Duży. My w 5 osób mieliśmy do dyspozycji dwie sypialnie, salon, kuchnię dwie łazienki i jeszcze jedną toaletę. Był też taras z możliwością grillowania, niestety nie mieliśmy czasu z niego skorzystać. Dużym plusem jest garaż, nie musieliśmy się martwić gdzie parkować auto, a to w Funchal jest dużym problem. W kuchni wszystkie potrzebne sprzęty, tak jak w opisie. W jednym pokoju były dwa bardzo szerokie łóżka, a w drugim jedno szerokie łóżko i dwa pojedyncze. Była jeszcze jedna sypialnia, z której nie korzystaliśmy. Gospodarz bardzo przyjazny. Polecam.

Cons: Teoretycznie w pokojach były duże szafy, ale trochę niepraktyczne, bo mało półek. No i dojazd. Trzeba się liczyć, że to Funchal, koszmarnie wąskie uliczki i koszmarnie strome. Ale to już uroki samego miasta, a nie tylko tego miejsca.

Excellent stay with great location and helpful host

Pros: Great location and very spacious accommodation with full privacy, as we had the entire house to ourselves. The private garage was a big plus, especially on a rainy day. The owner was very helpful and gave us great advice about local facilities and grocery stores. As a nice bonus, the host also shared extra sports equipment and balls. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Cons: Minor points (not negatives for us, but worth mentioning): Access to the house is via a steep and narrow local road, and the entrance to the garage with a bigger car can be a bit demanding. The bedroom design is simple, with older furniture, and the kitchen equipment is somewhat dated. That said, we still had everything we needed during our stay.

Wspaniały pobyt na cudownej wyspie.

Pros: Przestronny duży dom w dzielnicy Monte w Funchal. Spędziliśmy tam wspaniałe ferie na Maderze. Bardzo podobała nam się duża, doskonale wyposażona kuchnia, przestronne sypialnie i salon z wygodną sofą. Przydatny okazał się garaż. Wisienką na torcie był uroczy ogródek z miejscem do grillowania, gdzie upiekliśmy sobie ryby i estapady. Wspaniałe miejsce:-). Bardzo chętnie byśmy tu wrócili, tak jak i na cudowną Maderę która nas zachwyciła.

Große Unterkunft und super Aussicht

Pros: Die Lage und die Aussicht waren super. Das Haus ist wirklich groß und hat auch eine Garage. Die Vermieter waren freundlich. Die Betten waren auch bequem.

Cons: Müsste teilweise renoviert werden an manchen Stellen. Da wir im Dezember da waren, war es schon ziemlich kalt im Haus. Es gab nur kleine elektrische Heizkörper. Diese haben nicht ausgereicht und im Bad gab es keine Steckdose für die Heizung. Dort war es wirklich kalt, gerade wenn man duschen musste.

Wir fühlten uns dank des freundlichen Gastgebers sehr willkommen und haben den Aufenthalt genossen.

Pros: Ruhige Lage, phänomenaler Blick auf das Meer, vom Berghang aus, dreistöckige Haushäfte, elegantes Wohnzimmer, zwei Schlafzimmer, alles top gepflegt, Terrasse für Essen im Freien (viel genutzt), sogar mit Grill-Möglichkeit. Gut ausgestattete Küche. Garage im Keller. Es hat nichts gefehlt.

Cons: Es gab keine Mängel. Ausfahrt aus der Garage etwas kompliziert, aufgrund der Architektur bzw. Lage aber verständlich.
