The perfect place to stay in Madeira

Pros: There was nothing to not like, it was a home away from home. We felt so comfortable, everything was thought about. It really was the best place to enjoy our holiday which was a mixture of hiking and sunbathing.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike at all, you will not be disappointed!

Great family stay

Pros: We as a family had a brilliant stay at the house. We love the garden and pool after a busy day exploring. The house is very well equipped with kitchen equipment and ideal with a washing machine. We felt very at ease with the parking as the rental car was secure. Davide was very quick to respond to messages and helped us get milk for our arrival for our baby. Would recommend this house to all our friends and family. We hope we can visit again. Top tips - There are three restaurants beside the house. Our favourite was across the road over looking the sea. If you are going to Funchal it is technically only 20 mins but be very aware of traffic in busy times leave about an hour. Be aware in Madeira there are wall lizards, there are quite a few in the garden but they will not harm you or go near you. It was just a shock the first time I saw them.

Outstanding accommodation

Pros: Outstanding accommodation, with all the little extras that made for a fantasic stay. Host was excellent, and property was a stones-throw from 3 good restaurants, bus stops and the sea.

Cons: Nothing wrong with the property at all, but the sea was too rough to enter during our stay at that location, plus the 'beach' was very rocky, and instead of popping over the road for a dip as I envisaged, it warranted travel to another location to swim safely & sunbathe. However, we had hired a car (& there was obviously the lovely plunge pool and sunloungers in the garden), so this didn't in the end cause much hassle.

Pros: We had a really great stay here, house was comfortable, clean, and with very good equipt kitchen. Also 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets were super beneficiary while traveling as a group. We enjoyed the garden a lot. And the owner Dave was super nice and helpful :).

Perfect spot for exploring the island

Pros: Clean,spacious house,fully equipped. Nice garden was the highlight of the place. Also,very good location to explore the island.

Perfect location for a round trip in Madeira!

Pros: The location was excellent to visit Madeira! The house is very well equipped and the small tropical garden with swimming pool is nice to rest after hiking. We will definitely recommend this location to friends and family, and come back later!

Cons: Everything was ideal; maybe it’s good to mention that there is a road with traffic in front of the house and a restaurant near the house, which sometimes can cause some noise… and not ideal if you are a ‘bad sleeper’…
