Levada House Prazeres

If we ever stay overnight in Prazeres again, we will definitely return to this place.

Pros: A large apartment equipped with everything you need. We stayed in January, and at first it was a bit cold (the apartment hadn’t been rented before our stay), but the owner provided us with electric heaters and after one day everything was fine. We also received fruit, eggs, and basic food supplies.

Pros: The apartment occupies the second floor of the building, with a pizzeria on the ground floor, which was not open during our stay. Spacious, beautiful view from the terrace, including the sunset. Parking in front of the building. Large, beautiful hall. Pond with carp.

Cons: The house needs renovation, especially the doors and plumbing. The pillows are long overdue for replacement. Breakfast consists of sausage, cheese, yoghurt, bread, eggs, and fruit in the refrigerator, which guests prepare themselves. If necessary, the hostess will add anything you request. An additional building is being constructed on the premises. The noise is not disturbing, but it does make the area look untidy when walking to the pool. The neighbouring building is abandoned. Keep in mind that the house is located on a mountain, so the temperature is 5 degrees lower than on the coast, and it gets quite cold at night in late October (there is an electric fireplace in the hall).

Good location

Pros: It is in a good location for travelling across Madeira. There is a large garden with a pool and a spacious terrace. The living room is large. Unfortunately, there are damp marks in the bedrooms.

Cons: There is an unpleasant smell from the sewer pipes in the kitchen and laundry room. Lack of communication with the host. Apparently due to technical issues between booking.com and the host

Pros: locality is nice, quiet rural home, very nice restaurant in the first floor of the same building - food was very tasty.

Cons: beds were not very comfortable and we were expecti g served breakfest, which was in reality dyi. But the owners were very nice and helpful with everything we needed ❤️🎄 Our stay was during Christmas and weather was mostly cold, windy and the house has no isolation so there was a bit calm even with electric heaters in the rooms.

Klidně bychom zvolili znovu - cena odpovídající kvalitě.

Pros: Pěkné klidné místo, opravdu prostorný apartmán s bohatým vybavením, i když některé starší, bohatá mísa s ovocem, na zahradě i pěkné zákoutí a bazén (vzhledem ale k chladnějšímu počasí jsme nevyužili), terasa s možností posezení a výhledem, přímotopy dostačující k teplotnímu komfortu. Před ubytováním bez problémové parkování. Klidně bychom zvolili znovu - cena odpovídající kvalitě.

Cons: Vzhledem k vysoké vlhkosti a evidentně nedostačnému větrání všemi hosty místy plíseň, o doplnění jídla ke snídaní je nutné si říct, zapáchající odpad v kuchyni (ale většinu času jsme byly stejně mimo). Jsem vysoký narozdíl od hostitelky a tak mám jiný úhel pohledu, proto jsem bohužel viděl i na místa, které nejsou normálně viditelná a ta byla velmi špinavá, jinak vše čisté. Je třeba vyměnit pár žárovek.

Pros: Die Besitzerin hat uns freundlich empfangen. Der Kühlschrank war gefüllt mit allem was man sich zum Frühstück wünscht. Wir konnten Dinge nachbestellen, die leer gingen. Die Raumaufteilung ist praktisch, die zwei Bäder ebenfalls. Elektrische Öfen haben die Wohnung angenehm warm gemacht. Der Garten zur Alleinnutzung war eigentlich schön,man muss nur wegen eventueller Hinterlassenschaften der Hunde etwas aufpassen.

Cons: Leider sehr viel Feuchtigkeit in der Wohnung und daher auch teilweise unangenehmer Geruch.

Heerlijk

Pros: Groot huis van alle gemakken voorzien in een mooie rustige omgeving en de mogelijkheid buiten te zitten.

Cons: Het was een beetje lastig te vinden maar host reageerde gelijk en wachtte ons op.

Pros: Miła właścicielka. Ładny, przestronny i czysty dom. Blisko sklepy, spokojna okolica.

Pros: very big place all for ourselves. The swimming pool looked nice but with the weather we weren't able to enjoy it properly. Friendly hostess!
