Pros: Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter klappte einwandfrei (nur per Chat). An und für sich war das Haus auch wirklich sehr urig und typisch. Ein für uns sehr positives Merkmal (und auch der Grund für die Entscheidung) war, dass das Haus alleine steht. Also nicht irgendwo in einer Anlage (Reihenhaus). Dadurch war es auch sehr ruhig und angenehm. Von der Ausstattung her könnte man ein wenig mehr erwarten. Die Matratze im unteren Zimmer aber: TRAUMHAFT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ich hatte seit langem nicht mehr so gut geschlafen. Ausstattung der Küche war TOP! Das Restaurant \

A really special place to stay in an un-touristy part of Portugal. A place you will remember.

Pros: Beautiful authentic village house just steps away from the restored village of Pedralva. The views are gorgeous, you feel like you just stepped back in time. So peaceful. Huge terrace behind the house for eating outdoors, and cute balcony off the upstairs main bedroom. Bathrooms are modern and very clean. Large kitchen with the sweetest window and views. Two bedrooms, and the upstairs main bedroom is spacious and romantic. So useful that the bedroom upstairs is en suite with a fabulous shower too.

Cons: Bit of a musty smell when we entered, but that was dissipated once we opened all the windows. The couch in the living room could be more comfy, but it might be a futon bed for extra guests, so that's practical.
