Great hotel with perfect location

Pros: Charming Blue is a lovely hotel with great location in the centre of the main town on the island. It’s near shops, restaurants and the taxi rank which was really useful. The hotel is well designed, feels spacious and is clean. We enjoyed the breakfast and had dinner there one night which was also good. It’s got a nice lounge and pool area also. The staff were all really helpful. We would highly recommend the hotel.

Lovely hotel, great place to relax or explore.

Pros: A buffet type breakfast consisted of hot and cold options with plenty of variety. The restaurant served a good selection of food to suit all tastes. The hotel is ideally situated in the town center with a bonus on a small swimming pool/terrace. It is an ideal location to explore the rest of the island.

Pros: Nice rooms, comfy beds, good shower. Rented bikes, they were good too. The hotel even provided us with a packed breakfast as our flight was too early.

Overall it was a nice and pleasant stay on Santa Maria and Charming Blue hotel.

Pros: Rather new, well decorated and very spacious room at the rear side of the hotel. Excellent beds an calm.

Cons: Breakfast was somewhat too simple, compared to other hotels (comparable category and price level) we booked on Azores Islands.

Charming!

Pros: This is a charming hotel, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. As it was our honeymoon, we arrived to a small bottle of champagne, biscuits and a bed decorated with hearts and flowers, such a lovely thought. The staff were all friendly, efficient and courteous. The hotel restaurant had excellent food and wine.

Cons: The balcony was only a juliet, so we were unable to sit on it. There was no kettle or tea/coffee in the room. The air-conditioning couldn't be altered, just really cold or off and then it stopped working altogether. Breakfast could be more varied and perhaps a small change each day.

Pros: Excellent place to stay, nice boutique hotel with large rooms (plus balcony to the pool side) and very comfortable beds. Staff is super friendly and the breakfast is great

Pros: This is a nice hotel, but not as good as I expected for the price.

Cons: For the room price, I was rationed to 1 small bottle of water over 2 nights. Tiny shampoo / shower gel bottles are very outdated and wasteful. Shower wasn't very clean too.

Pros: Guys, I'll just repeat my 2018/19 review. A great hotel, comfortable clean and great rooms, good view, good location, absolutely fantastic knowledgable and warm staff which reacted quickly to every whish, question problem. Also great laundry service. What can I tell you? Book it

Cons: the restaurant struggled a bit, my neighbors weren't easy but the staff took care of it.
