607 Villa Lorena

Fabulous but disappointed with the sleeping arrangements.

Pros: I liked the spaciousness of the communal areas. Nice and airy with a decent balcony. the pool is a great asset and loved the surrounding gardens. It has a decent level of privacy also. IT had all the facilities you would need and expect in a rental. Overall, this is an amazing slighted dated house (which is perfectly fine, loved that) and not too far from the town. You will need a car but taxis are plentyfull.

Cons: I did not like the fact that the house was splitt in two. I had booked for 6 people and expected the 5 rooms that were listed on the site. Instead we got 3 rooms and had to share. Not ideal for a family holiday. When we highlighted this to the people managing the house they told us that this is what we booked. I stated that I booked for ALL rooms. They then wanted to charge us another €600 to access the other rooms. IT wasn't until we complained further that the boiler didn't work (no hot water) the pool area was dirty and unprepared, the the barbecue hadn't been cleaned since close of season last year the owner decided to offer the other rooms for €300. I declined as I felt we should have had these rooms in the first place. The website isn't clear on that so beware when booking.

Pros: The villa was exactly as advertised by the website and the staff were very accomadating. Very authentic setting.

Cons: Nothing, I loved it and will return to villa Lorena in the near future.

Pros: La maison est très jolie et confortable. La piscine est top. Alessandra a été hyper reactive suite à un problème de clés lors de notre arrivée un dimanche à 20h ce que nous avons apprécié car elle est arrivée en à peine 20mn.

Cons: Il m'a manqué quelques équipements pour être vraiment confortable (plus d'un seul sac poubelle par exemple) et de couteaux de cuisine qui coupent (lol) mais franchement c'est du détail.

Großes schönes Haus in etwas ungünstiger Lage

Pros: Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und super ausgestattet, toller großer Pool, wunderschöner Garten. Sehr hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter bei weloveportugal. Supermärkte und Strände mit Auto schnell zu erreichen.

Cons: Die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen. Das Haus heizt extrem auf im Sommer, da es am Hang liegt ohne Schatten und alle drei Schlafzimmer des oberen Haupthauses den ganzen Tag von der Sonne beschienen werden. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage. Das Haus liegt sehr nah an einer Kreuzung mit vier mehrspurigen Schnellstraßen, es gibt daher Tag und Nacht durchgehend Verkehrslärm (bei Wind teilweise extrem laut).
