Villa Montanha

Very good family holiday in the sun with great food and fun.

Pros: The villa was very well appointed with a beautiful swimming pool. A short taxi ride ( more than 10min walk!) was all that was needed to many splendid restaurants.

Cons: Unfortunately there was a new large villa being built next door that occasionally made noise, but I guess that will only last for a short while longer.

Great stay for a big groups with cars

Pros: - Large Spaces - Kitchen well equipped - Swimming Pool

Cons: - Next door construction site that was not communicated in the listing or upon booking - Small double beds

Pros: The property was lovely, spacious, and well equipped. It was a nice walk to the beach and restaurants. We had a lovely time

Pros: Super house and pool and great space. Would love to go again next year as it suited our families needs.

Cons: Steep hill and footpaths not wheelchair/ buggy friendly.

Fabulous family holiday

Pros: Beautiful villa with everything you need to hand. Short walk to shops and beach of Praia da Luz.

A lovely, relaxing stay.

Pros: A lovely clean and bright house, plenty of room for everyone. The pool area is super, and there are lots of things to keep the kids busy (pool table, football table, Netflix etc). Joanne was great to deal with, and check in/check out was very easy.

Cons: The only drawback was the steep walk back from Luz village.

Lovely big villa with everything you might need

Pros: Lovely big rooms and an amazing pool area. Everything you might need in the kitchen and very clean

Cons: Bit further than a 10 minute walk to the beach but a pleasant one. No air-con but lots of fans available

Beautiful villa in a great location.

Pros: Large and spacious villa. Fabulous upstairs terrace with comfortable seating and views over Luz to the sea. The swimming pool is large and gets the sun all day. There’s a pool table and table football to keep the teenagers entertained. The location is very peaceful and we all enjoyed walking to Luz but it is quite a steep hill on the way back.

Cons: No walk in shower in any bathroom. The driveway is long and narrow so although there is room for several cars they’ll all be parked in a row. (Plenty of on street parking available if needed)

Pros: Superbe villa dans un quartier calme sur les hauteurs de Praia da Luz. Chambres spacieuses et logement bien équipé tant pour la cuisine que pour les loisirs. Contact facile et agréable avec les propriétaires.

Cons: Piscine non chauffée et du coup un peu trop froide lors de période de grands vents.

Bra vecka med familjen, lite mer underhåll skulle göra upplevelsen av villan bättre.

Pros: Rymliga rum med separat badrum, bra pool. Bra tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Snabb återkoppling då vi kontaktade värden med frågor.

Cons: Trädgården överensstämmer inte med bilderna. Överlag nedsatt underhåll. Det var skräpigt och gräsmattan var bara jord.Det fanns inte dusch i det ena badrummet. Ett fönster som inte gick att stänga i ett annat badrum vilket skapade korsdrag. Köksutrustningen var inte uppdaterad, slitna stekpannor och avsaknad av grytlappar.
