Monte Sao Pedro - Villa

Pros: Loved the pool - would be chilly outside the summer, but perfect for August. Comfortable beds, almost all the essentials we needed, towels replaced part way (unexpectedly!), fast WiFi, all very clean. Made a great base to explore Praia da Luz, Lagos and the western Algarve too. Despite the problems listed below, we had a very good stay.

Cons: The biggest issue was the inaccurate listing - we had booked in part because the villa had an oven (shown in photos, and listed in facilities). However, it turned out that the kitchen had been renovated at the start of 2023 and the oven removed. The updated kitchen is obviously a bonus but I can't believe the listing hasn't been updated months later - and is still incorrect despite having highlighted it to them last week. They did their best to solve the issue and find us a small portable oven, which helped, but it's not great that anyone booking is STILL getting the wrong information. There was an odd mix of items in the kitchen too - eg a great selection of knives, but no scissors, lots of plates but only two chipped bowls, for example. Other things to be aware of: the shower is also a handheld one, and there's a bad smell of drains in the bathroom during the summer months. The loungers also look very tired and faded, although they worked well. A car is also essential to get around: there's almost nothing in walking distance, so if you don't have your own transport, you'd need taxis.

Relaxing “start & end your day with a swim” stay

Pros: The clean private pool, the spaciousness, the privacy. The very nice staff & the location. We were even permitted to check out later. Everything was perfect.

Maravillosas vacaciones en Monte Sao Pedro

Pros: La piscina privada, la tranquilidad del lugar y la comodidad de las camas. Tiene un cuarto lavadero detrás de la cocina , con una excelente lavadora. La limpieza se realizó a mitad de la estancia de forma muy correcta, reponiendo toallas y sabanas y limpiando toda la casa. Muy recomendable alojarse aquí.

Cons: El patio tiene muchas grietas que hay que vigilar porque puede ser por hundimiento del terreno. La piscina no tiene ducha exterior. Y la ducha del baño no tiene enganche para sujetarla en la pared, por lo que hay que usarla siempre sujetándola con la mano. Vendría muy bien un pequeño horno de sobremesa. Aviso! La cafetera es de cápsulas.

Pros: Maison dans un petit lotissement très calme et en dehors de Luz, il faut être motorisé, possibilité de se garer devant la maison. Terrasse, piscine et barbecue permettent de passer quelques soirées sympathiques.

Cons: Il manque un peu d'équipements (vaisselle, cafetière...) pas de lave vaisselle, lave linge, ou cafetière.

Pros: Könnyen megközelíthető, megtalálható. Nyugodt, szép környéken van, közel az óceán és a város, mindent könnyű beszerezni. A háztól 20 méterre lehet parkolni, de a ki és bepakoláshoz oda lehet állni a bejárathoz. A tulajdonossal csak bookingon keresztül írásban kommunikáltunk, mindent pontosan leírt, korrekt volt. A kis ház ízlésesen van berendezve, nagyon otthonosan éreztük magunkat négyen. Tiszta volt, kènyelmes minden. A medencét szerették a gyerekek, szép napokat töltöttünk ott. Abszolút nem zavaró a túloldalon lent lévő kemping, ahol esténként élő zene van, mi szeretjük a Rockn Rollt, jó lett volna átmenni bulizni, de nem.volt idő, de jó hallgatni a nyitott ablaknál, kb éjfélkor abbahagyják 🙂 Legközelebb hosszabb időre foglaljuk le, szívesen ajánljuk családoknak.

Pros: Estuvimos dos semanas en esta villa y todo fue perfecto. La ubicación era lo que esperábamos, en un sitio tranquilo y fácil de llegar. La casa, el patio, la piscina todo muy limpio. Después de siete días nos cambiaron toallas, sábanas y artículos de aseo en el servicio y limpieza en la cocina. Se puede llegar muy fácil al pueblo de Luz, 3 minutos en coche o 15 minutos dando un paseo. El pueblo es muy bonito, con muchos servicio de gastronomía, supermercados, etc. Volveremos.
