Some good, some just ok

Pros: Great gym (good selection of both cardio and strength equipment), well-maintained pools, lovely gardening, freshly made breakfast every day. Spacious apartment.

Cons: Could use a refresh in the apartment: saggy couches, old carpet, cockroaches in one of the bathrooms.

Pros: Beautiful and clean accommodation with secure lush grounds.

Peaceful and relaxing

Pros: Beautiful modern apartment with everything we needed. Really spacious and comfortable. Secure parking with our own space. Lovely quiet pool area with a bar serving drinks and snacks. Friendly staff who were welcoming and accommodating. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. We absolutely loved staying here! Perfect end to a Portugal road trip and by far the best place we stayed in Portugal.

Cons: The bar doesn’t open until midday so stock up on drinks/snacks!

Overall would highly recommend Estrella da Luz if travelling to Praia da luz

Pros: Excellent facilities with an apartment with everything you could possibly need. Excellent breakfast provided each morning with a wide selection of foods and friendly efficient service from the staff

Cons: Double bed in upstairs room hard as a rock Location is up a hill from the beach but Praia da luz is a hilly area overall with nowhere other than beach side escaping the hills

Great place to stay with a group of friends.

Pros: The aprtment had a view of the sea. It was spacious and well-equipped with self-catering facilities. It had 2 larger pools, a spa, a gym, and an on-site restaurant. It was within a short walk of the apartment to the beach, bus stop, shops, walks and restaurants/bars. Apartments accessible by stairs or lifts.

The best place ever!

Pros: We liked everything! We loved the resort, we loved the apartment, and we enjoyed a perfect balance of all positives of being in the resort and no negatives whatsoever! The space wasn't crowded despite the fact we were there in the time of high season, the place was divided into kids and family area and the adults area which gave everyone what they were looking for! I loved the fact they were using salt instead of chlorine in the pools! There were always free spaces at the pool! The breakfast was absolutely divine provided by the best service ! They made us feel looked after and cared for!

Pros: Great room, lots of space we'll fitted kitchen furniture and bathroom,free underground parking with lift access really good breakfast.

Cons: Very steep from the main area restaurants, beach, and main areas.

Pros: Love Estrella and have been coming for years Great location great staff and amenities

Cons: The wardrobe doors were broken and we couldn’t use the wardrobe We weren’t informed and had to inform reception as we were concerned we might get charged

Pros: Spacious, clean apts. Always get a bed by the pool regardless of time of day. Welcome pack for water, milk, coffee , dishwasher tablets etc. breakfast was lovely, staff friendly and informative. Bar food good value and tasty

Cons: Pool bar only opened at 1pm which was late for drinks by the pool and lunch

Great apartment would come back again

Pros: Lovely large studio apartment. Great pools and pools bar

Cons: Breakfast could have been on a bit later
