Pros: Since we rented a car for our holiday in Madeira, we wanted to stay outside of Funchal itself, and Calheta is an excellent option. The apartment’s location is ideal as a base for exploring the island. Parking in front of the apartment is definitely a great advantage, and the host, Manuela, was extremely kind and professional. In my experience, the apartment may be a bit too small for three people, but for two guests it offers all the necessary amenities and enough space.

The staff was very welcoming, always checking on us, giving directions.

Pros: The property is very cosy, a heated pool in front of our bedroom, 10 minutes from the beach by car, little coffee close to the house and also a super market. The bed was amazing, no noise at all. Loved the views and the people 💚 Will definitely come back!

Pros: The host was very friendly when we asked about the laundry service!

Great stay in quiet area!

Pros: Great facilities, everything you need for self catering. Very quiet place. More for couples or single travellers. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much!

Cons: Just a fence behind pool could be removed or done better.

Pros: Cozy apartment with beautiful view on the ocean. Small but well organized. Basic kitchen but with the essentials needed to prepare a good dinner and enjoy the meal in the balcony. Few minutes distance from Calheta beach.!Definitely the best place we stayed in Madeira.

Cons: Everything was perfect

Pros: The room is a bit small but has all facilities, amazing balcony with great view, the shop is in 2 min from apartment what is very convenient, very clean, the hosts are friendly and great people 😊

Pros: The stunning views from the room and balcony. There was sufficient space to park 3 cars. The kitchen had ample crockery and utencils. The wifi was decent. The towels and linen were neat and clean. There is a pool as well. There was even a fridge and microwave in the room.

Pros: Very good location, market down the hill, carpark, beach nearby, great view from balcony to the ocean

Cons: Very thin walls between other apartments, no real door to the bathroom, which can influence on your level of privacy comfort. Or room was upstairs and with no A/C, which means it was too hot to be there in August. Studio is just a room with bathroom.
