Pros: We (young family with 12 months old baby) spend a perfect time in Madeira Inn Refugio. What we loved: - big rooms and two separate bathrooms - nice terasse incl. spectacular views - spotless, very clean and plenty of towels - washing machine incl. washing powder - Teresa is a perfect, kind and very professional host. She knows how to make her guests happy and satisfied. She provided a lot of information and recommendations, the communication was seamless and quick and she fulfilled any of our requests in terms of our baby (e.g. she bought a brand new high chair for our baby or borrowed us a sun umbrella for the beach). Dear Teresa, many thanks for your great hospitality!

Nice and comfortable stay with a nice terrace to have breakfast or dinner.

Pros: The view over Calheta to the sea is magnificient, the appartment cozy with modern furniture. The location is perfect with everything one needs close by plus it is easy to get away to other villages surrounding Calheta. Teresa, as a host, was very welcoming and supportive throughout our stay and beyond.

Peaceful location but difficult access to facilities if no car. Spacious.

Pros: It is very necessary to have a car. Taxis are available for short journeys however. Host was easily contactable. Location very peaceful. Beds comfortable, nice linen. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. Plenty of hot water. Ample storage space in bedrooms. Modern interior. Good WiFi connection.

Cons: Outdoor chair broken. Only two sunloungers. Shower did not attach to wall fitment, broken. More mugs would have been useful. No welcome pack on arrival…mini market near but steep hill on return. Hairdryer in each bedroom would have been useful as property does sleep 6. Kitchen rather small in proportion to rest of property…only really room for one person at a time. There would not be sufficient indoor comfortable seating if more than three guests. Small amount of washing powder and a fuller washing up liquid bottle and more bin bags would have been a thoughtful addition

Pros: Podabało się przyjęcie nas przez Pani Teresę. Dom duży, czysty, zdbany. W domie jest wszystko co potrzebne. Byliśmy jak u siebie w domu. Samochód parkujesz blisko drzwi. Z tarasu i okien pokoi widać ocean.

Cons: Bez samochodu do plaży trochy daleko, drogi strome. Więc musisz mieć wynajęty samochód na cały okres pobytu, wtedy jest wszędzie blisko. Ogólnie trzeba wiedzieć, że na Maderze bez samochodu nie ma co robić.

sehr schönes Quartier mit Blick aufs Meer

Pros: Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung, ruhig gelegen, geschmackvoll und mit viel Stauraum eingerichtet, perfekt für unsere Familie. Teresa ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, die immer ansprechbar war und sich super gekümmert hat - es gab eine Vielzahl an Ausflugstipps und gute Restaurantempfehlungen... Alles in Allem - ein toller Urlaub

Wij hebben daar geweldige fijne dagen gehad!! Groeten van Cees en Maria.

Pros: De accommodatie was uitstekend. De host Teresa is heel vriendelijk en wil alles doen om je vakantie te laten slagen. Het laatste stukje weg gaat vrij steil omhoog en je moet dan met de auto een bocht maken om op de parkeerplek op het terras te komen.. Dat gaat wel maar je moet goed kunnen sturen. Supermarkt is op loopafstand al.moet je dan wel de steile weg weer omhoog lopen. Wij 70 + hebben dit een aantal keren zonder problemen gewoon kunnen doen.

Cons: Zou het zo niet weten.

Pros: Sehr großzügige und schöne Wohnung. Drei schöne, helle Zimmer, zwei davon mit Dusche und WC, sowie ein weiteres, separates Bad. Küche komplett mit allem was man braucht, schöne Terrasse mit tollem Blick. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Es gab sogar frische Bananen für uns. Alles in allem waren wir begeistert und können die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen
