Madeira exploration
Pros: Spotless, everything you need to self cater. Lots of towels, including beach towels. Comfortable outdoor furniture and cushions. Sun trap. Parking. Good location for exploring the whole island.
Cons: Leaking shower - the doors don't shut properly. Noise 8am to 6pm due to building work over the road which will take the view away when finished.

Great location, perfect for one person or a couple
Pros: Friendly host, easy communication, check in & check out. The house is well equipped including all kinds of products such as laundry detergent, soap, etc. and some basic cooking ingredients. The location of this house is very convenient, 5 minutes from Calheta beach & supermarket, on the other hand, 10 minutes from great hiking points. The area is overall very quiet, even though you have some life nearby. Considering the cost of some other properties in Madeira, this one is a bargain.
Cons: Unfortunately there is a building of a new property in progress which is soon going to obstruct the beautiful view this house has at this moment. On another note, I spent most of my time outdoors so that would still not bother me. Otherwise there is nothing negative to say.

Pros: Welcoming host, huge terrace with beautiful view of the ocean, comfortable furniture, very clean and modern apartment, easy parking, air conditioning, laundry room
Cons: They are building an apartment complex directly across the street, complete with a large crane; during our stay, workers were there Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM. It made the apartment's beautiful outdoor space pretty much unusable. We also noticed many ants coming in from under the apartment doors.

Pros: It's a truly wonderful place to stay in Calheta. The sea view is magnificent, and the accommodation is impeccably maintained, with comprehensive refurbishments and all necessary amenities, particularly in the kitchen. The property manager is exceptionally kind and promptly assisted us when we encountered an issue with the bathroom water. Considering the price, it's an excellent choice for accommodation in Madeira. However, it's important to note that renting a car is highly recommended for exploring the area during your holiday.

Great place to base yourself for a stay on the island. A car is essential to see the real Maderia.
Pros: Unfortunately our flight was delayed which meant no one was able to meet us at the apartment. Elvio was at the airport but left instruction how to enter the Apartment, The up side was that the apartment surpassed expectations. Great place to relax and unwind, peaceful with great outside space . Clean modern close to essential amenities. A 5 minute drive to Calheta beach, supermarket and restaurants in the marina. 10 minute drive to Madalena, Jardim and paul do mar.

Amazing
Pros: Absolutely fantastic! I have never been in as great apartment as this one. Views breathtaking, everything clean, we received welcome gifts, apartment was equiped with everything you can think of - set for barbecue, washing machine with detergents, dishwasher... Parking slot in the yard. Only small disadvantage is proximity to the city centre, but if you want to have peaceful escape from reality, then this is it ☺️ I would come back immediately

Beautiful well equipped apartment with a view
Pros: A holiday villa that you can just feel at home in, only thing we needed to do was fill up the fridge:) The view was amazing with sun loungers on the terrace to enjoy the sun and relax on. We got picked up by host Élvio who was extremely friendly and helpful, he recommended the best food places and bars nearby.
Cons: We didn't rent a car but if you stay longer than a week or you don't enjoy walking as much as us, we would recommend car hire :)

Pros: Very good location. Clear and fresh apartments. It is felt that recently renovated. Near Caleta beach. Quiet, quiet area. Very good hosts, met with gifts and a bottle of wine. No disadvantages, I highly highly recommend it for everyone, I will come back here again with great pleasure...
