Quiet Cozy Apt MQ2 & Near Beach & Mountain View

Pros: A lovely and authentic village life on the hillside. If you want to go down to the ocean, you also get a nice bit of exercise (about 20 minutes one way) 🙂 The kitchen–living area has a beautiful mountain view. Cafés and small local shops are about a 10-minute walk away. The host was kind and very quick to communicate.

Cons: 🙂 There was nothing I specifically disliked — it felt like a cozy, home-like place with everything needed. The low kitchen ceiling could be an issue for taller guests during a longer stay. As a small suggestion, it might be nice to add a small TV on the wall between the bathroom and the kitchen area, as currently the TV is only in the back bedroom with the sofa bed. A small sofa in the kitchen–living area (instead of regular chairs along the wall) could also work well, as there seems to be enough space. Overall, it might be worth considering turning the back room into a proper bedroom with a wide bed and focusing more on the kitchen/entrance living area. There was no air conditioning, but during the winter season the small heater was sufficient. The house does not get much direct sunlight; mainly the evening sun reaches the small terrace by the front door. If you plan to work, the internet connection occasionally drops, but it comes back quickly 🙂

Amazing apartment in Calheta with a stunning view

Pros: This place was fantastic. The view was amazing, facilities were great, beds were comfy, apartment was well appointed. The host's communication was excellent, very welcoming and responsive. Lots of room for our family of 3. The location (Calheta) was great for us, we didn't mind being a little further from Funchal. With our rental car we found the entire island very accessible.

Cons: The kitchen ceiling was low (represented well in the photos so it wasn't a surprise), if we lived here longer term it would be an issue but for a 1-week stay it added to the charm

Warm family atmosphere and great location

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Meu Quintal Apartments. It’s part of a family home, which creates a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The apartment was well equipped, including a full kitchen and washing machine. The location is perfect – just a short ride to the beach, shops, or into the mountains for hikes. On our last night, the family surprised us with delicious homemade soup. A lovely personal touch!

Great flat for staying near Calheta Beach

Pros: Really welcome host and super helpful. The flat was really clean and well appointed. Definetely recommend. Also parking nearby

Estuvimos muy a gusto en el apartamento

Pros: El apartamento contaba con todo lo necesario y estaba limpio y ordenado. El acceso era sencillo y tenía aparcamiento propio. Muy buen contacto y trato en todo momento con el propietario o gestor

Cons: La única pega que puedo sacarle es que el colchón estaba bastante deformado y era muy incómodo para mi, pero es algo bastante personal y a otra persona puede no importarle

Pros: Bardzo wygodny apartament, kuchnia, salonik, sypialnia, pokoik telewizyjny- czytelnia. Dużo miejsca. Bardzo wygodne łóżko. Dwa tarasy, widoczki. Mieszkanie mieliśmy na piętrze. Obok budynku parking. Do Restauracji bardzo blisko, do przystanku autobusowego ok.300m(na Maderze sprawnie działa Bolt i Uber, jeśli nie wynajmujesz auta), do sklepu trochę dalej spacerem- najbliższy pod górkę dla zrobienia kondycji😉 Bardzo pomocny gospodarz Gabriel.

Pros: Tolle Fotos mit QR-Code - so hatte man gleich alle Infos der betreffenden Sehenswürdigkeit. Alles gut & unkompliziert. Kommt man gerne wieder.

Pros: L'appartement était très joli et bien optimisé 2 balcons permettaient de profiter de l extérieur Literie confortable ,pour résumer je le recommande Notre hôte Gabriel a été adorable et très serviable

Pros: Logement très propre et fonctionnel , rien ne manque et un petit plus la bouteille de vin ...commerces tout prêt
