Zeza´s apartament

Clean, spacious apartment with a great host

Pros: This apartment has a breathtaking view of the ocean. It has an underground garage parking spot and it is very clean and well equipped (ex. kitchen appliances, washing machine, two hairdryers) Since our stay was for 10 days, Zeza was nice enough to accommodate us with a mid stay cleaning of the apartment, which we really appreciated. Zeza is an amazing host, she provided us with a lot of useful information about the island and the amazing things we could do during our stay.

Cons: There were some ants in the kitchen. We could not identify where they were coming from. They were not a big deal, but would be nice to get rid of them to make this place a 10. Fridge was smelly, even though it was cleaned thoroughly by the host. Apartment is not very well isolated, so you can hear noise from outside and cars going in and out of the garage. Not a deal breaker, but bring along some earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Pros: Zeza was wonderful and welcomed us at her apartment. The kitchen was well equipped. In walking distance there is even a good bakery. Even when we had an emergency Zeza came to help! Thanks for that!

Pros: We loved the stay at the apartment, it was bigger than expected and we had the nicest view from our balcony! The apartment is in calheta, from where you can reach the while island very fast. Zeza was super sweet and so so helpful also with choosing destinations/hiking trips! We would highly recommend staying there and will come back for sure!

A lovely, well-equipped, very spacious apartment via a balcony with sea view.

Pros: Zeza's apartment is huge - in fact I think it is bigger than my house! There are two large bedrooms, one en-suite, plus another which big enough for its two single beds. Both the kitchen and the living area are spacious, too. There is a balcony big enough to each meals and sit out with a sea view. (The current (as at Feb 24) building site opposite provided entertainment as well. Wouldn't say it spoilt the view. The allocated parking is inside in the garage on the floor directly below the apartment.

Cons: Really, nothing. Just be aware that Calheta is about 30 minutes west of Funchal and 45 from the airport. On the other hand, there are plenty of interesting places to visit locally, and Calheta Marina is a great place to eat!

We had a lovely time and would definitely visit again

Pros: Zeza is a wonderful and thoughtful host. The rooms were spacious. The apartment was well decorated. The kitchen was well equipped. We slept very well in the comfortable beds. We stayed for 6 nights. I would suggest that anyone planning to stay here should hire a car. There are lots of places to visit on the west side of the island.

Our stay in Zeza's apartment was exceptional.

Pros: Very comfortable and tastefully decorated apartment with access to the swimming pool. 10 minutes from the apartment is a very tasty restaurant and bakery. 20 min walk to the beach and supermarket. The owner very friendly and helpful, gave us a lot of tips and welcomed us very warmly.

Wonderful place for our vacation

Pros: We really liked the apartment (especially the details, balcony and the pool). Also the kitchen was very well equipped! Zeza is a wonderful host. We highly recommend the apartment :)

Pros: Minden csodálatos volt, csak ajánlani tudom mindenkinek. A szállásadó nagyon kedves és figyelmes. A lakás győnyörű, tágas, szép esztétikai érzékkel berendezve. Mindenünk megvolt, ami kellett. Minden tiszta, szép és új. A kilátás az erkélyről a tengerre csodálatos. Maximálisan meg vagyunk elégedve.

Pros: Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Besonders gefallen hat uns die absolute Sauberkeit des Apartments! Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Des Weiteren ist Zeza total süß, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Sie war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns sofort geantwortet wenn wir Fragen hatten. Absolute Empfehlung. Die Lage des Apartments war ebenfalls super. Calheta ist einfach wunderbar, sogar einen Sandstrand gibt es. Supermarkt, Restaurants, Cafés, alles in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto oder zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir würden uns jederzeit wieder für diese Unterkunft entscheiden.

Pros: Top ausgestattete Wohnung mit allem, was man brauchen kann. Sehr nette Gastgeberin, die Tipps für Gaststätten und Ausflüge hat. Man sollte gut Auto fahren können, da die Wohnung an einer steilen Straße liegt und eine steile und etwas enge Einfahrt zur Tiefgarage hat. Aber das ist in Madeira überall so.

Cons: Ich wüsste nichts, was nicht in Orndung gewesen wäre.
