Studio Cascata da Giesta

Pros: It was one of the best accomodation i've stayed in. The place is beautiful, the waterfall incredible as we can hear it at all times and helps escaping from the reality of our hard lives (which I was searching for). Hosts are very generous as everything is provided (shower gel, shampoo, salt, tea, tissues....) and as someone who's working in the tourism field, I would 100% recommand. Everyday was an adventure to come and go from the appartment as the way is full of stairs in middle of banana trees, felt like hiking everyday ! Thank you Sergio for your kindness and generosity, I will come back.

Pros: The location is absolutely stunning—a hidden gem with views of banana plantations and waterfalls right in your backyard. It’s just a short 10-minute drive from Funchal and less than 5 minutes from charming fishing villages, where you’ll find excellent coffee and restaurants. Honestly, the location pleasantly surprised me the most.

Pros: Apesar de existirem muitas escadas e de o caminho do estacionamento ao alojamento ser cansativo, a vista vale muito a pena para quem gosta de calma e tranquilidade e de observar a natureza. Acordar com o som da água da cascata e dos pássaros
