For this vacations was looking for quite, peaceful place, where I can reload my head and also enjoy the beauty of island

Pros: Location of Villa Sophia is in very calm neighbourhood, where mostly live wealthy people. You won’t see there a lot of tourists or visitors. It is better (maybe) to have a car, because to get to nearest restaurants you’ll be doing some intense hiking. But it’s all up to options that one have during vacations.

Cons: I can’t recall.

Pros: Great communication, met at the property upon arrival and shown around. Lovely,.clean accommodation. Very quiet.

Cons: Would recommend a car. We didn't hire one and Bolt was our new best friend. There's only so many times you can walk up that hill!

Pros: Maura was a delight, every detail was was in perfect order. Kitchen had everything, views from the terraces where gorgeous. As a bonus there is also a communal washer / dryer for your clothes!

Pros: From start to finish, the welcome by our host; as well as the location with its breathtaking views, have exceeded our expectations. The apartment is well equipped and super clean. Just one suggestion, consider installing a collapsible table (to do preparation for cooking).

Amazing!

Pros: Absolutely amazing apartment. The view is just unbelievable, very peaceful and quiet. The apartment is very spacious and has everything that we needed. It's very close to local shops and restaurants, 15 mins drive to Funchal. Ana is also an amazing host, very kind and helpful. Will definitely re-book when next in Madeira!

Great place to relax and watch the world (and boats) go by.

Pros: Beautifully furnished with great attention to detail. Fantastic view over the ocean. Had everything needed for self catering. Easy on- street parking.

Cons: It is a steep hill to walk to the restaurants and shops BUT this is Madeira!
