Excellent apartment and base for exploring Madeira

Pros: This was a spacious, light, modern two bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor of a modern apartment building. There is a garage and a lift. Kitchen is light, spacious, well equipped. Living-room has a dining area and sofa area - both spacious - with patio doors to balcony. The two bedrooms were spacious and light with patio doors onto a full-width balcony. Two bathrooms (Shower rooms) were spacious and well equipped.

Cons: The apartment was further from the city centre than I'd anticipated - it's about a mile. There is a direct quiet road which we walked down - but it is very steep in parts. However, we used BOLT (like UBER) a lot which negated the steepness and distance. The basement garage and access to major roads would be an advantage for anyone driving/hiring a car.

Lovely apartment

Pros: Great place near the city centre. Lovely and very welcoming apartment with a beautiful view. The apartment had everything we needed. It's just as good as the pictures shown. Raquel is an amazing host. She gave us extra information about the area before we arrived (nearest supermarket etc). Check-in and out was very quick and smooth. If you need any advise during your stay or if there is a problem, Raquel is there to help straight away. Our stay was wonderful and we are hoping to be back soon. We might make this our mother and daugther trip (33 & 70). We had an amazing time, thank you for making our stay a wonderful experience!

Cons: Water pressure a bit low but otherwise a great stay

Spacious and modern accomodation not too far from the city center.

Pros: Modern apartment with all imaginable equipment. Fairly spacious, two balconies. Great parking in the basement of the house - very convenient! Not a fantastic, but nice enough view into the mountains.

Cons: Rather noisy - although not a big road, a lot of traffic which makes the main balcony less of a treat.
