Apartment with ocean view and parking

Excellent apartment in a great location

Pros: A very new apartment so everything was spotless. Huge balcony which overlooked the ocean either side of the hotel in front, south facing. The lounge area was massive, so big there would be room for an additional comfy chair? The kitchen was exceptionally equipped, induction hob, dish washer, washing machine, huge fridge/freezer, coffee machine (with some pods), lots of other bits and pieces. Two bathrooms, both with large walk-in showers. A double and one twin bed bedrooms - massive built-in wardrobes. Very secure, touch button entry and cameras. Lift to the second floor where the apartment is located. Great communication with Rui. The No.4 bus stops are right outside.

Cons: The double bed was a bit hard for my partner, it was fine for me. Personal preference on this one. The road was quite busy during the day and there was some building work going on (they stop at 6pm) - but none of that bothered us really.

We loved our first time in Madeira and this apartment was perfect

Pros: Perfectly located just outside the central area of Funchal. Very spacious and comfortable apartment with a wonderful ocean view. We rented a car so having a parking space was a real positive. NYE fireworks from the balcony was an awesome experience.

Great Apartment, Amazing Location, Godawful Pillows

Pros: The location is really central, close to the water front and surrounded by supermarkets. The apartment is large and bright, with a dishwasher and washing machine. The parking garage is a big plus because parking in the area isn't great.

Cons: Unfortunately we slept pretty poorly because the window in the main bedroom is facing the street and the cars pass very loudly in front of it. But the worst part of it all were the pillows! They were flat and hard as concrete pancakes. I woke up every day with neck pain and on one day I had such a bad muscle spasm I couldn't turn my neck to one side...

Perfect Stay in Madeira

Pros: The apartment was modern, clean, very spacious and great value. It was well equipped, had lots of storage space and a large underground reserved parking space. The location was great being on a bus route and having a large choice of shops and restaurants all within a few minutes’ walk. Rui was a friendly host, with quick communications before and during our stay.

Awesome stay!

Pros: We have arrived pretty late, but there was no problem at all to meet owner who handed us the keys, super nice person tho. Place is super clean and comfy, little posh imho, absolutely nice stay with coffee and breakfast at the balcony overlooking the ocean , worth every price!

Winter sunshine escape

Pros: The apartment is recently built. Bright, airy, high ceilinged and very spacious with a lovely sea view. Kitchen facilities were very good. It was nice to have use of a dishwasher and washing machine. Plenty of toilet paper, soap and shower gel provided as well as kitchen paper and washing detergent. There are many restaurants bars and food shops in the area and it was a short walk to all the main bus routes. We liked that the wonderful Funchal lido and coastal promenade was a 10 minute stroll away.

Cons: There was a little road noise but the road the apartment is situated on is not a main thoroughfare, so there was not a steady stream of traffic. Lack of A/C wasn’t a problem at the time of our trip in November.

Pros: Brand new, spotless clean, nice view and good location

Cons: Absence of Air conditioning...it was pretty warm at night
