Sun Island Apartments

Pros: Excellent terrace with sea view, shopping mall with supermarket just below, and spacious garage. Excellent for families with two kids.

Cons: I don't know how it is without air conditioning during the hot months.

A very pleasant stay with great location and parking - minor comfort issues to be aware of

Pros: Very convenient location Clean Good communication with the owner The parking spot is a big plus (you just drive down from the road as if you were going to park in Forum Madeira shopping centre but turn right to a separate parking space)

Cons: Lack of air conditioning – since you're right next to the mall, it's better to keep the windows closed to reduce noise. But then it tends to get quite warm inside, and the fans aren't always sufficient Walk-in shower cabin – not the best fit for that bathroom, as water easily splashes all over the floor

Comfortable stay

Pros: The view, the spaciousness, the completeness of the accommodation. Located right above the shopping centre with easy access to the centre with a nearby bus. The host is very responsive and friendly! Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

Cons: Not the host fault but the main door to the apartment can be quite tricky to open. Also, the misalignment of the washin machine door but we figured it out eventually.

Amazing apartament!

Pros: The apartment is amazing, high standard, super equipped, great location. And this view from the terrace! Cidalia the hostess is very kind and helpful, I highly recommended!

Pros: An absolutely beautiful & spotless apartment! The location was perfect. Would definitely stay again...thank you.

Pros: Big apartment, terrace with a great view. Parking slot in garage, shopping centre behind.

Pros: Excellent location, just above the shopping centre, next to the taxi stand and bus stop, and only 5min walk from the natural pools. The noise from the street is negligible, I slept with the windows open and had absolutely no issues (it does get a bit busier during the day, but most likely you'll be out exploring anyway). Would absolutely recommend!

Pros: Amazing apartment with excellent location next to ocean and a shopping mall as well. Everything we needed (groceries, restaurants etc.) was a matter of a one-minute walk. The view from the apartment was wonderful,we could enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while looking at the ocean. The rooms were very clean, spacious and they were equipped with everything you need for your vacation. The apartment comes with a parking space right inside the building with very easy access. The hosts were very helpful and kind.

Cons: Everything was perfect

Pros: Good place to start the excursions. Apartment has own parking place in the garage. You can find a large shopping center Forum Madeira next to the apartment. You can buy everything there for the next day excursion. Seaside and good restaurants very near in Rua da Ponta da Cruz.

Cons: It is a center location. If you open the window it is a little bit noisy.

Pros: The apartment is incredibly spacious and tastefully furnished. It is the kind of comfort you want on a trip. The bedrooms have comfortable beds that promise a great night's sleep, though the street right next to the apartment is a little bit noisy at night. The balcony is very nice with a stunning view. Having a closed garage for your rented car adds a sense of security. It is well-located as well, making it easy to get around. The well-equipped kitchen and the reliable internet connection make it feel like you have all the conveniences of home. A fantastic experience overall!
