great location, clean, convenient

Pros: great location, 5 min to the main street and to the ocean front; property vey clearn, easy to get into, they provide contact number in case of any issues. small studio, has all the basics.

Cons: soundproofing is poor, could hear everything that was happening on the stairs.. but as other guests were quiet at night, it was not a big nuissance for us.

Pros: Great apartment, very clean and well equipped. The location in the city was also really great.

Clean apartment in a perfect location

Pros: Clean and comfortable apartment in a great location. Definitely worth living in. Close to everything. No place to leave a luggage before/after checking out and the owner speaks poor english. Otherwise it is perfect place to live.

Pros: Super location in the middle of the town. All we were looking for (bed, bathroom, kitchen). You can park your car from 8 pm to 8 am for free in front of the apartment. Shopping center nearby.

Cons: In order to park your car at day, you need to use one of the parking houses or the shopping mall nearby. at the road it is limited to 1,5h

Pros: The apartment is with very good location in a quiet place. Clean and functional. There are everything that you need for a stay of several days. There are free parking spaces on the street as well as in the neighboring ones if you are with car.

Cons: None.

Pros: We had a great stay at this place. Great location. The apartment was clean, very comfortable. I recommend it.

Cons: If I could add something to this apartment it would be some facilities to the kitchen, to be able to cook more easily (strainers, kitchenware).

Best location possible

Pros: The location is the best! Definitely the cherry on top of the cake! Super close to the shopping center La vie and you can walk to where ever you want in the City centre with ease of public transports as well - couldn't ask for better!!

Cons: The photos show all the rooms so you don't really know which one you got until you get the key and enter the apartment - the bed was more on the harder side, the walls are quite thin and there was a puddle of water under the sink and fridge area to which I communicated about and the answer was \

Comfy nice and clean

Pros: The place is nice and cosy, with a small terrace and good sized rooms. The self check in is very comfortable as well. Very clean and liquids for shower and hand soap were available. There was everything you need, microwave, fridge, kettle, utensils for cooking, a sofa bed, a big bed for one person, and a really nice shower

Cons: I wished there was more view, but it was ok, quiet considering being in the centre

All that’s required for a good Madeira base

Pros: location was great - right next to la vie which had an amazing supermarket at the bottom which even did hot take away food. The sea front was a 7 min walk max. Joel the host was in contact and responded to any queries QuickTime

Cons: small mix up gaining access - I was told the wrong apartment, but with a call that was sorted quickly. Would be good to have some basics like tea and coffee, salt and pepper given it’s a self catering apartment. Would advise a quilt and quilt cover as opposed to a throw all guests use and a single sheet which comes away from it…my personal preference. all in all, I would recommend as a great Madeira base.
