FLH Funchal Balcony Apartment with Sea View

Well placed home away from home

Pros: Lovely view from the balcony. The rooms were clean. Spacious, well laid out apartment, well situated across the street from the shopping centre and less than a 5 minute walk to scenic natural pools and restaurants. 2 minute walk to a health club that includes a swimming pool and gardens. The property manager Aderito was attentive.

Cons: There is no air con, I was only advised after arriving and all week the temperature was around 30 degrees. The blades of the singular desktop fan provided had a build up of grime. The bath and sink plugs didn't work correctly and didn't let the water drain. The washing machine was dirty and smelled mouldy even after putting it on a hot wash with soap and no clothes inside.

Pros: The position is perfect if you like a quiet place but well connected with everything. The garage was good for our rented car. Near there is a Thai massage that I recommend after the days of trekking. To better exploit the house you have to go in front of the apartment to the supermarket and buy groceries and cook. Kitchen fully equipped. The sea view is beautiful and near there is the walking street with a view on the sea.

Nice apartment with nice view

Pros: The apartment is nice with all the necessary amenities for a long stay and fully equipped kitchen. There is a parking spot included in the garage, which is convenient in case you come by car or decide to rent one to explore the island. The location is good in terms of view, proximity to the ocean front, right across from a Shopping centre with everything needed, although it is an hour by foot to the city centre, around 20 minutes by bus. The communication with the management of the apartment was easy, via Whatsup, they let us check in early, explained everything and gave some advices.

Cons: The bed was not comfortable. The washing machine had a defect, it didn't rinse, so we had to do it by hand. There is only one small frying pen. Also during our 8 nights stay, someone came once to change the towels and bedsheets, and we found out about it when we came home in the evening, it was nice they do it, but we didn't expect it, so it would've been nice to inform us in advance.

Pros: Apartment with a good location, nice view and private parking. It was clean and cozy. Kitchen well equipped. Very nice hosts.

Cons: Bed

Pros: Large and well equipped appartment with modern kitchen (including washing machine and dishwasher), fast internet, balcony with nice sea view.

Sehr gut gelegene Wohnung mit tollem Meerblick mit Einschränkungen in der Bequemlichkeit.

Pros: Sehr gute Lage der Wohnung in einem gepflegten Haus, toller Meerblick,Tiefgarage dabei. Schlüsselübergabe und Kommunikation waren perfekt.

Cons: Die Wohnung ist im Grunde hochwertig eingerichtet, wobei die Esszimmerstühle sehr unbequem waren, der Außentisch stark wackelte und man bei den Matrazen deutlich die Sprungfedern spürte.

Prima verblijf voor 5 dagen.

Pros: De mogelijkheid eerder in te checken. De netheid van de accommodatie. Nabijheid winkels.

Cons: Het harde bed, maar dat is persoonlijk. De wasmachine was niet helemaal in orde.

Pros: lokalizacja obiektu jest największym atutem. Promenada i plaża Formosa znajduja się parę minut piechotą od obiektu. Mieszkanie było czyste, zadbane, przestronne. Sprawny kontakt z obsługą obiektu. Prywatne miejsce parkingowe w garażu podziemnym.

Cons: Niewygodny materac, czuć było sprężyny. Kuchnia mogłaby być lepiej wyposażona (więcej noży, kubków, kieliszków)

Pros: Super lokalita v blízkosti obchodného centra, parkovanie auta v garáži, milí hostitelia.

Pros: perfekte Lage, Top Aussicht, nette Gastgeber, sehr gute Ausstattung

Cons: Bett etwas hart und ungemütlich
