We’d a lovely relaxing week with lots of great restaurants within walking distance

Pros: It’s a lovely, clean, spacious apartment in a great location

Cons: The swimming pool is quite small and shallow

Excellent comfortable accommodation to discover Funchal and as base for trips across the island!

Pros: Very well equipped. Spacious, even for 6 adults. Free parking on site for 2 cars. Easy walking distance to the romantic old town with many restaurants.

Cons: During the course of our stay, the weather got quite hot, and we missed airconditioning.

A great place to visit and the excursions we booked showed us how beautiful the island is.

Pros: The apartment was spacious, comfortable and was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It is in an excellent location only a short walk away (about 10 minutes) from the old town in Funchal where there are lots of restaurants and bars. The centre of Funchal is only 15 minutes walk away.

Cons: Construction work is going on a few metres away from the apartment block however it was not noisy and did not cause us any inconvenience. The overall appearance of the area will improve once the building works are finished.

highly recommend a stay here - we loved it

Pros: Apartment is excellent, very spacious and great facilities. Is definitely nicer in real life, the pictures don’t do it justice. Only a very short walk to the old town which is lovely! Host was very welcoming as well. Bathroom & pool towels are provided but aren’t listed which was a nice surprise as well!

Cons: Loungers by the pool need repairing, or cushions could be provided. In summer air conditioning would be beneficial!

Great location with excellent amenities

Pros: Short walk to the old town restaurants and shops. About 10/15 mins from the seafront and cable car to Quinta Monde. Very well equipped property - coffee makers, toaster, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Two bathrooms makes it a really useful space for multiple guests. Having someone meet you there and show you the best way into the property was a great intro (plus restaurant/shop recommendations and locations)

Cons: Minor thing, but quite a lot of ants in the kitchen every night. We lost a bit of food to them the first night before realising they were there. Lesson learnt though, just kept everything in the fridge. Also opposite the apartment is a building site, but that didn't bother us as we were out every day.

Dejlig lejlighed tæt på det hele

Pros: Dejlig stor lejlighed med to badeværelser og tre soveværelser. Der er et meget veludstyret køkken. Der er en kort gåtur til restauranter og indkøb. Vi satte også stor pris på pladsen i parkeringskælderen.

Cons: Eneste lille bitte minus var spisebordet som lidt for højt og bredt.

Espaçoso apartamento

Pros: O apartamento era muito espaçoso e estava muito limpo e organizado. A cozinha era boa e estava totalmente equipada. As casas de banho eram também modernas e espaçosas e tinham toalhas grandes. Os quartos também eram bons e tinham arrumação grande. O apartamento tinha lugar de garagem, o que foi muito bom porque alugámos um carro e estacionamento não é muito fácil e barato de encontrar. Os anfitriões vieram-nos receber quando chegamos mas também dá para ser self check in. Resumindo, achamos o apartamento muito bom e com uma excelente relação qualidade-preço.

Cons: Na altura em que viemos estava um bocado de calor, e não tendo ar condicionado (AC) tivemos de usar as ventoinhas que eles tinham em casa, o que foi suficiente para a maioria dos hóspedes. As almofadas eram um bocado rijas para o nosso gosto e as camas só tinham edredons (o que em dias de calor são demais). Durante a nossa estadia, estavam ainda obras a acontecer ao lado, que como não estavamos no apartamento durante o dia não nos afetaram exceto numa situação pontual em que não pudemos entrar com o carro para a garagem porque estava um camião a descarregar na viela, não havendo espaço para passar com o carro.

Pros: Das Appartment war sehr geräumig, sauber, gut ausgestattet. Der Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage super. Die Lage ist optimal in der Nähe der Altstadt Funchals. Busse und Boote und die Seilbahn zu Fuß super zu erreichen.

Cons: Es gab nichts zu bemängeln.

Wunderschönes Apartment in guter Lage mit defekten Schlössern

Pros: Das Apartment ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt. Es ist geräumig und es ist wirklich alles vorhanden. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit jeder Menge Geschirr und Kochutensilien. Es gibt einen Geschirrspüler, eine Waschmaschine und sogar einen Wäschetrockner. Bei Problemen wird schnell und unkompliziert geholfen. Wir sind schon zu Mittag angekommen und konnten die Wohnung beziehen, da sie schon bezugsbereit war. Die Mitarbeiter waren äußerst nett und hilfsbereit. Restaurants sind nur ein paar Minuten entfernt und es gibt auch ein kleines Geschäft und eine Bäckerei dort.

Cons: Die Bauarbeiten in der Nähe sind nicht so toll, es wird aber in der Beschreibung darauf hingewiesen. Und die Schlösser sind ein Problem. Sie funktionieren nicht, so gelangt man nur über die Tiefgarage ins Apartment. Dafür hat man aber nur einen Öffner. Wenn man getrennt weggeht, kann das zum Problem werden. Und das Badschloss sollte man nie zusperren, sonst kommt man nicht mehr heraus, was mir passierte. Es musste jemand kommen, um mich zu \
