Pros: Great location – away from the crowded and noisy city center. Close to the ocean, restaurants, and shops. Quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Perfect for those who value peace and quiet and beautiful views from their windows.

Amazing apartment with a seeview

Pros: The apartment was very clean, equiped and furnished very well. The atmosphere felt like a home if you know what I mean. It was not „cold” and „anonymous”with only necesery equipment. There were very nice element of decoration and small details that made your stay comfortable and better. In the kitchen there is all you need. The terrace with an amazing seeview is the centre of daily life. There was no AC but it was not necesary at alll. Opened windows and a little wind did their jobs. The water and a bottle of wine in the fridge was a nice gift for us. There were no problem with finding a place to park a car in the street. Just on the other side of the street there was a tiny restaurant. I recommend this apartment and if we decide to return to Madeira we will choose it again

Cons: Everything was ok.

Pros: The location is very good, and the view from the big terrace is spectacular. Ideal apartment size for a family, very clean and everything was working well. The landladies are very nice and helpful and always reachable.

Pros: Quiet location with great sea view especially with a terrace watching sunset. Well equipped and comfortable apartment. Convenient for buses and shopping, fabulous restaurant opposite. It was an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Host was very helpful in the run up to check in, making the experience a smooth one.

The pros very much outweigh the cons, as the apartment really is everything you could wish for in a holiday let.

Pros: Authentic and spacious with a brilliant sea view from extensive balcony. Had all the mod cons as the kitchen was hi spec, not that we particularly used it, but the washing machine was very handy. Special mention to local staff who made our slightly complicated check in and late check out very easy with excellent communication.

Cons: First floor so some stairs with no lift, and also no air conditioning, not a big deal for a two night stay, but a ceiling fan in the bedroom would have been welcomed. Strangely the emails from the parent company in Germany were not particularly informative or helpful.

Perfekte Unterkunft für drei Personen. Wunderschöne Terrasse (Frühstück, Sonnenuntergang am Abend)

Pros: Apartment mit toller Lage - kurze Wege zum Strand und zum Felsenbad sowie zu div. Restaurants von tw. sehr hoher Qualität. Eine Buslinie in die Stadt in unmittelbarer Nähe, weitere ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Ausstattung sehr gut: Nespresso Kaffeemaschine, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine...

Cons: Noch netter wären Insektengitter vor den Türen

Fantastische verblijf gehad op Madeira!

Pros: Gezellig ingericht en ruim appartement op perfecte locatie in buitenwijk van Funchal. Mooi groot balkon met zeezicht! Dit was onze favoriete plek. Verder 2 slaap- en badkamers, complete keuken en wasmachine. Het strand is 10 min lopen. Fijn contact met de verhuurder.

Cons: Er was geen airco. In de slaapkamers waren ventilators wat prima was.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit super Ausblick

Pros: Die Ferienwohnung war super, sehr sauber, gut eingerichtet. Das beste war der superschöne Ausblick.

Cons: Die Matratze war für mich viel zu hart. Ich konnte keine Nacht durchschlafen.

Parfait

Pros: Cet appartement est vraiment très agréable, très propre, très fonctionnel et calme. Nous avons adoré la terrasse face a la mer avec une superbe vue. Le restaurant en face de l’immeuble, bien que modeste, est très sympa et on y mange bien, Nous avons également apprécié la proximité d’un centre commercial, accessible à pied, flambant neuf et très accueillant, les magasins et supermarché étant ouverts jusqu’à 23h.

Cons: Pas d’ascenseur mais un seul étage pour y accéder
