Pros: The apartment is in a great location, very close to the beach. The view from the balcony was really nice and made the stay even more enjoyable. The host was very friendly and helpful, and there is a bus stop nearby which made getting around very convenient. Overall, a great place to stay!

Pristine apartment with a stunning view

Pros: The apartment had everything we needed for a 10 day trip. The bed was comfortable, the flat spotlessly clean and we had the facilities to cook great meals, which we ate in the evening on the balcony with a superb view. Salome was quick to respond to our queries and was there to greet us on our arrival. The apartment is ideally situated with good supermarkets about 5 mins away (the fish and seafood counters are fabulous!) The bus stop is a minute away and there’s a great local restaurant just opposite. This was definitely one of the nicest properties we’ve rented. Thank you, Salome!

Cons: The WiFi signal was a bit weak, though we had data so it wasn’t a problem for us.

This place has a beautiful view!!

Pros: The host was lovely and easy to contact, she left us cake and a drink which was a lovely touch. The apartment is nice and clean and the view from the balcony is beautiful! We would definitely stay again!

Pros: Obviously, the view is the main highlight of the apartment! The balcony in the apartment is the best place for any meal:) In addition to the view, the apartment has a well-organised and lovely interior. I really enjoyed staying in the apartment. And the owner is a super nice lady! Additionally, the location is the best: very central, close to everything, two big supermarkets nearby, a lot of restaurants/ cafes / bars and a beach, and you can avoid the traffic jams that are so common in Funchal's center.

Cons: The mattress was not very comfortable: it made me roll to the middle.

Fantastic sea view in a quiet location

Pros: Fantastic sea view. You can hear the sound of waves from the apartment. Very clean. Modern furnishings. Well equipped kitchen. Parking space under building. Very quiet at night. Great communication with host.

Cons: Mattress on bed was too firm (of course this is personal preference)
