Slovenia 🇸🇮

Pros: Quiet, comfortable, clean and spacious room. Very nice host. Room for free parking in the street if you plan on renting a car. 20min walk downhill to the city centre and 6min ride back up with taxi. :)

Cons: The bed was maybe a bit too soft for my taste but not really problematic.

A lovely place that I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Pros: We really enjoyed the beautiful view from the apartment, the room was very comfortable and clean, and the hosts were extremely kind and helpful. They were always available and made us feel very welcome.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like — everything was great!

Charming Apartment Room

Pros: The apartment was cozy. Beautiful setting, the view at the top was gorgeous.

Cons: No place to eat inside the apartment. The apartment had a room and a shower. The washer, microwave and refrigerator had to be shared and was located behind the apartment. There was only one small table and two chairs on the front porch. We had to take turns utilizing them with the other tenants. The apartment was about a mile downhill to downtown. You had to taxi your way back or walk the incline up to the apartment. EVERY, taxi and Uber driver got lost picking us up or taking us back to our location. It typically should have cost $5-6 euros but instead every return ride cost us $8-10 euros The host was delightful and very hospitable.

Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt, auch wenn nicht alles ganz perfekt war.

Pros: Die Lage war gut, ruhig und mit schönem Blick z.T. aufs Meer und auf die Berghänge gegenüber, wir konnten schön auf der Terrasse sitzen. Die Gastgeber waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet mit Klimaanlage und Deckenventilator im Zimmer und guter Dusche und vielen Produkten (Seife, Shampoo, Körperlotion usw.) und Föhn im Badezimmer, allerdings nur Kaltwasser am Waschbecken.

Cons: Geschäfte oder Restaurants waren wegen der Steilheit und der Entfernung nicht gut fußläufig oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar. Die Küche (gemeinsam mit dem anderen Appartment zu nutzen) war wenig attraktiv, nur lose aufgestellte Einzelteile auf Betonboden, der Herd funktionierte nicht, die Spüle hatte nur kaltes Wasser und der Wasserhahn war locker, aber Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank und Waschmaschine waren gut ebenso wie 2 Wäscheständer.
