Nice location, big family apartment

Pros: The apartment is located in a very nice resort, you have free access to a opened pool where only the complex residents have access with a code (don't forget to get the code during the checkin). Praia da Luz is 5-10 minutes walking distance - this is not the best beach, but it's quite nice. Free parking on the streets near the apartment.

Cons: The check-in is a nightmare: the apartment is rented by an agency DreamAlgrave and you have to drive about 15-20 minutes to Lagos city center to get the keys - this can only be done FREE of charge between 4pm-7pm. Here there are 2 problems: around 4pm is very crowded, you have to wait for about 30 minutes. Also, since the check-in office is in the center, if you drive a car you have to pay for the parking - that's about 1 EURO, but it somehow frustrating that you have to pay just to wait for the key. The apartment was a bit older than expected, but still looks quite ok. I only stayed for 2 nights and I was a bit disappointed that the location kitchen was missing the minimum facilities such as dish washing liquid. In other locations from Portugal, out of courtesy for guests, I found something from the house, but not here.

Pros: Practically new apartment with everything necessary, it is very well located, about 5 minutes walk from the magnificent Praia da Luz.

Cons: Having to pick up the keys at the agency in Lagos.

Pros: Excellent apartment really close to beach and restaurants. Apartment is comfortable and has everything you need. Luz is a great wee place, really relaxing with enough to do and close to Lagos.

Cons: Air con was not working which was a shame as listing said air con. Also, we arrived at the apartment at 5pm and waited an hour for the cleaner to finish which was a bit annoying as we were tired and hungry from travelling and wanted to get in to freshen up, it was advertised as check in from 4pm.

Cons: It is a bit outside and the beach is nothing special in the village, you need a car to go to the nice places.
