Large apartment, good for the airport as only 6 mins away

Pros: We stayed here at the end of a long trip around Madeira, staying in various villas and apartments around the island. We chose this due to the location to the airport, proximity to nice places to eat, parking and space to pack our luggage. We were only in the apartment 12 hours, essentially we arrived, packed went on a little explore and slept before leaving at 3am. The lift is good, parking was plentiful and supermarkets and shops for last min essentials. It’s easy to find Marcos instructions are clear 6 mins from the airport

Cons: The building is being painted, this resulted in difficulty accessing the front door (also due to the washing out too!). The apartment had a paint aroma, one of the bedrooms we were unable to look out/ open the window due to it being externally covered. When we arrived it was a bit discontinuing as the washing machine was mid cycle with 90 mins on it, so we were unable to launder our clothes due to the timings.

Wonderful host!

Pros: Great location, close to a big supermarket, and 10 min away from the beach. Marco was a wonderful host! My dad forgot his wallet in the apartment, and he sent it back to us in a timely manner.

Pros: Clean, big, comfortable. Except bed in ensuite room missing slat end of bed. Family laughed lots when grandmother had legs in air and mattress above her. Directions email wasn't sent until we had arrived, but personal phone call very helpful.

Easy to accommodate for a one night stand

Pros: Very spacious apartment, pretty close to the beach, very close to two supermarkets and other shops. Parking place at the sub-level was much appreciated as is difficult to park on the streets in the area.

Cons: The kitchen utilities were not quite 5 stars ( although no less then 4 ).

Pros: Very spacious, nice apartment. Very comfortable bed. Fully working kitchen. Responsive host. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Pros: Really spacious lovely apartment. 3 large double bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, washing facilities and area outside to drink coffee etc. TV with satellite. En suite in one bedroom. large main bathroom. Next door to 2 large supermarkets and 10 min walk to the beach. lots of coffee shops and cafes near. Owner met us at property. Really friendly guy. Check out was midday. Can’t wait to stay again.

Pros: Apartmán na výborném místě. K Atlantiku i do centra příjemná procházka pár minut. Pingo Doce z jedné strany, Cintinente z druhé, mnoho příjemných barů, kaváren a dalších obchodů okolo. Autobusové nádraží za rohem. Tři ložnice s vybavenou kuchyní, dále je zde pračka i sušička. Ve třetím patře, klidný. V kuchyni by se mohli vyměnit hliníkové hrnce. V prosinci počítat s tím, že je chladněji. Ubytování je hezčí než ukazují fotografie. Celkově prostorný a čistý apartmán se třemi ložnicemi, dvěma koupelnami, kuchyní a obývacím pokojem. Rodina s malým dítětem spokojená.

Pros: Velký, prostorný, čistý apartmán, poloha v centru města, pár minut od moře-písečná pláž, v blízkosti 2 supermarkety a výborná kantýna s výběrem chutných jídel v jednom z nich za velmi dobrou cenu.

Cons: Hrnce a kastroly v kuchyni nejsou v dobrém stavu-bylo by vhodné pořídit nové- nerezové, jinak vybavení kuchyně je dostačující.

A lovely week in Machico (Madeira)

Pros: Appartamento accogliente e in posizione perfetta. E, cosa che spesso non è importante ma a Madeira invece è preziosa, il posto auto in garage coperto era un plus apprezzatissimo.
