Pros: The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and it's located at ground floor. It's very big with 2 balconies and nice view as it's situated up on the hill. The owner also provides a parking place at the property. The kitchen has everything you may need during a long or short stay. The bedrooms have sunshades.

Cons: Everything was perfect!

Pros: Beautiful and peaceful place too stay. Wonderful ocean view. Nice pool.

Super schone en complete accomodatie

Pros: Er werd zeer snel gereageerd op vragen. Het appartement was zeer schoon en volledig ingericht. De buurt was rustig. Het ligt redelijk centraal in Madeira.

Cons: We moesten even op onze host wachten bij het inchecken. We zijn toen maar even boodschappen gaan doen in de supermarkt in de buurt. Toen we daarvan terugkwamen was hij er al. Dus dat was niet echt een probleem.

Pros: Très grand appartement avec tout l'équipement nécessaire. Accès à la piscine avec coin barbecue. Belle vue sur l'océan. Il manque peut-être une petite table sur le balcon pour prendre les repas.

Cons: Même si l'immeuble est situé dans une impasse, pas mal de bruits (beaucoup de chiens dans le quartier qui aboient à longueur de temps...) et immeuble pas très bien insonorisé (on entend beaucoup les voisins).

Ruim appartement buiten de toeristenzone

Pros: Mooi, zeer ruim appartement met alle (keuken-)faciliteiten die je tijdens een meerdaags verblijf nodig kunt hebben. Het appartement was zeer schoon en netjes. Op enkele honderden meters afstand was een supermarkt en restaurant, een auto is erg handig om de plek te bereiken.

Cons: De lampen aan het plafond bestond uit peertjes, misschien dat de eigenaresse Veronica een keer enkele plafondlampen kan ophangen? Het appartement was ingericht voor 4 personen, maar die moeten elkaar wel aardig vinden want het heeft 2 tweepersoonsbedden.

Pros: De ruimte in het appartement. De goed uitgeruste keuken.

Cons: De parkeerplek in de garage.

We loved our stay

Pros: The apartment is huge, and very clean with all the amenities you need. There is a parking garage with a reserved space just for you. The check-in is very easy. Veronica, the hostess, is a very kind and warm person. No problem with the conversation, if you need anything you can just contact her. She left us a welcome gift, which we appreciated very much. I read some people complained about no dishwasher. We did cook but found no need for a dishwasher. Two bathrooms, one with a shower and another with a tub. The location is uphill from Ponta do Sol in a quiet neighborhood. It can be a bit chilly in the evenings/nights but we had warm comforters and extra blankets were left in the closet. I'm so glad we chose to stay outside of Funchal. I really appreciated the peace and quiet. The pool is amazing, I did not swim, but my kiddo was there almost every day. There is also a charcoal grill.

Cons: I saw that the mattresses were new, but unfortunately pretty uncomfortable, especially the one in the master bedroom. I have a problem with my lower back so that was a huge issue for me. I tried to change the beds/rooms, and even tried to sleep on a sofa in the living room. My husband, who is healthy, says he couldn't sleep well due to uncomfortable mattresses. I would recommend a host to buy mattress toppers which would solve the problem. Unfortunately, I'm familiar with the fact that when you buy mattresses, you can get a completely different mattress than the one you tried in the store. So hence the recommendation for the toppers (which solved our problem at home). I'm still giving a rating of 10, no matter the uncomfy beds in the hope when we visit again, the beds will be much better.

Pros: appartement avec une belle vue. très spacieux. Nous avons utilisé la piscine qui était déserte. parking privé en sous sol. appartement confortable. Grande buanderie pour le lavage et repassage. appartement au calme dans une impasse.

Cons: comme il est en altitude c'est un peu froid et humide. Il faut mettre le chauffage pour sécher les vêtements.
