The penthouse apartment is great.

Pros: You have a terrace with an ocean view and pool chairs all to yourself.

Cons: The kitchen could use a little better equipment.

Pros: Very nice hosts. Luis and Fernanda were super friendly and warm hearted. We felt very welcome and at home. The view from the roof top terrace is spectacular. You can see the sunset and sunrise. We were kindly allowed to use roof top terrace since the roof top apartement was not occupied. The house is located in the middle of a traditional banana plant with all kinds of other fruits and vegetables, a small paradise. The barbeque was well equipped. You can see and hear a levada running behind the house. We will definitely come back!

Do consider this place! it's different from the ordinary and well taken care of!

Pros: The property is just a bit different than the ordinary -- placed in the middle f a banana plantation. Very quirky place and large apartment with a sea view!

Cons: There was nothing that I didn't like but I guess an aircondition system would be a good addition for the summer months. I was there in October and it was quite warm in the bedroom when going to sleep.

Pros: The garden is amazing. The view is stunning. On one side the ocean the other side banana trees and waterfall. the Owners are lovely and very helpful. They gave us mangoes and banana from their garden. You need a car to go anywhere. by foot you can only reach a lovely pebbles beach and a couple of bars/restaurants

Pros: Herrliche Lage mit tollem Blick aufs Meer. Im Appartement war alles vorhanden, was man brauchte.

Cons: Leider konnte die Hausfrau nur portugiesisch.

Een rustig goed uitgerust appartement op het zonnigste punt van het eiland.

Pros: De locatie van het verblijf is subliem. Niet ver van Funchal, in het midden van de zuidkant van het eiland, alles is makkelijk bereikbaar en bovendien op de zonnigste plek! De hosts zijn enorm vriendelijk, we kregen lekkere fruitjes en een broodje, het is er erg proper.
