Pros: First of all, the communication with the owner and the speed of response were impressive — thank you very much! + Convenient parking, a barbecue area, a small courtyard where you can spend your free time, everything is clean and tidy, plenty of towels, comfortable beds, and the kitchen has all the essentials and utensils — spices, oil, coffee, and so on.

Cons: - We probably came during the low (non-summer) season, and it was very, very damp; the wardrobes, although they look great from the outside, have a persistent musty smell that quickly transfers to clothes and other items. - The water supply depends heavily on the weather, so on cloudy days it’s better to ask in advance to switch to the electric water heater. - The welcome basket (thanks for having one at all) felt more like a joke — a bottle of beer, bananas, and eggs, as if it was just leftover food from previous guests.

Pros: The house was very spacious, including the kitchen, It was very clean and everything you could need was available. The window shutters were very helpful in eliminating the light from the street lights at night and the beds are very comfortable (there are several dogs out at night taking turns barking). There is a very spacious balcony with chaise lounge seating that overlooks the ocean and town below, great for viewing sunsets. Awesome narrow winding roads throughout the island made it fun to drive, including to this location. Beach and grocery stores are nearby and Funchal is a short drive away. Parking is immediately outside, off the street. The host is very welcoming, there was a very large basket of eggs, bananas, even beer awaiting us!

All recommendations, worth of money!

Pros: Everything! The beds are super comfortable, ocean view from the deck is super cool! The owner and her husband are also very polite!

Pros: We had an amazing stay at this property. It was the perfect base with beautiful views, ideal for exploring the island by car. The apartment was clean, well-equipped with everything we needed, and very comfortable. The parking spot was conveniently located right by the apartment. The owners were friendly and helpful. For us, the sounds of roosters and dogs in the morning were exactly what we needed during this vacation, far from big cities.

Apartment A

Pros: *Apartment was clean and fully equipped *Good communication with owner *Large terrace with bbq & sun loungers

Cons: *roosters and dogs will make sure you wake up early ;) *ants in the kitchen and cold water in the shower on the morning on the last day

Pros: Excellent view to the sea in a really cool location, close to everything. The house was great, a lot of space and equipped with everything. Really happy to stayed there.

Had an absolutely amazing time here for 2 weeks. The apartment had everything we needed and lived up to all expectations

Pros: Very clean and well presented apartment. Hosts were fantastic. Location was just perfect for us. The view over the ocean is amazing. Will definitely book again. It’s a 10/10 from us.

Calm place and lovely host. I'd stay here again

Pros: The host is great and they had left me a bottle of wine, bread, fruits, milk and coffee and water. I really like that touch. The shower pressure was great. The location is 8 minutes from ribeira brava town. Definitly need to have a car if you stay here. Loved it overall and they were great about me being later at checkout

Cons: The beds arent comfortable unfortunately I think the mattresses are a little old. Not a terrible problem because they did provide alot of pillows but I would say I wish the mattresses were more soft. We also did wish we had more big towels.

Cons: High humidity… 2 moisture absorbers are not enough Very poor internet connection (problems with router) Hair dryer should be replaced with a new one
