Ribeira Brava I by An Island Apart

Great apartment, would recommend

Pros: Great little apartment with a balcony, in a residential area but close to a supermarket. Parking was great, had everything we needed for a lovely week and Dimitry, the host who met us was really helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here for a couple.

Cons: The comments below are not for publishing as there was nothing wrong at all, these are just to help make it even better! The directions were poor, if you provide an exact location rather than just the street this would really help. It would be useful to leave washing up liquid as there aren't enough plates to use the dishwasher so easier to wash by hand. It would be good to have a cafetiere or coffee pot that doesn't use pods. I dislike coffee pods for environmental reasons but there are also so many I didn't want to buy the wrong ones. There was also a few nights when the neighbours were noisy but you can't control this at all. Please don't see these comments as negative, the apartment was perfect but we run an apartment in the UK and find feedback really helpful.

Pros: Excellent location both to explore the island and visit the town. Quiet and peaceful area. A supermarket just round the corner. The town centre with a few good restaurant within the walking distance. The apartment itself very well equipped, clean and specious. Convenient parking space in the garage.

Nice place to stay at Madeira, especially if you travel by car

Pros: Very nice apartment. Fresh and clean. Fully equipped. Good location if you plan to visit different parts of the island by car. Big supermarket just 2 minutes by walk. Private parking in the underground garage is a big plus.

Cons: There were some construction works in progress in the condominium complex, so it was a little noisy in the morning. It is not critical though, if you leave early and are absent the whole day.
