The Green Valley House

Pros: The apartment is like a little home equipped with all the necessary things. The view is beautiful. Marta is super friendly and helpful, we got a lot of recommendations from her about the island and when we needed help she immediately looked after us. Try the local wine from the winery opposite of the accommodation :)

Made our first visit of Madeira very comfortable

Pros: im so happy i have found this house. The location is very nice. You will find everything you need in Sao Vicente and also in this house. The views are amazing. The calm, the comfort, private. The house is very nice, bathroom also. After Madeira walks and constantly changing weather in January you can just sit on the sofa with selfmade chips from plaintains, and watch movie. Although there is a washmaschine i recommend to take the clothes after washing to the big supermarket for dry... its impossible with humidity it cost ca 2€ and you can put almost everything inside to dry in just 17min! the host is amazing. if you like coffee and stayinng longer buy dolce gusto capsules :) we felt were comfortable the whole stay and immediatly missed the house after we got to our second accomondation but it was booked after :( if we ll come back i hope we will find this house available. thanks for everything!

Pros: Very cozy, comfortable, clean and well maintained. It even has airconditioning! The host was really helpful, we felt right at home!

Cons: The beds were hard (this seems to be normal in Madeira)

Fantastic, clean, and well-equipped accommodation with a friendly, and professional host

Pros: A highlight was the properties location, up high in Sao Vicente it offered great views! Additionally, there was ample parking for our rental vehicle by the front. The property was precisely what the photos showed, and it was super clean, and had everything we needed as a couple to be comfortable. With all the cooking utensils available, we found ourselves cooking quite often and having dinner over a show on the TV in the evenings. But to be honest, what impressed me most was Marta’s communication, and her eagerness to help you in anything! Whether it was with an enquiry about the accommodation, or about recommending places to visit! All in all, I highly recommend staying here, if we come back we’ll definitely stay here again.

Cons: It’s not the properties fault but I highly recommend you rent a car, it’s hard to access by public transport so rent a car, or use bolt!

Pros: Location with amazing views! Flat was really well equipped and host was very helpful and kind (we loved the complimentary Madeira wine and chocolates!). You can park just in front of the flat and it’s very easy to get to various locations for activities.

Pros: The appartment is very cosy, it has everything you need and the views are fantastic! Parking right in front of the door. The host is really nice, available for questions an gave us a lot of tips to do. I'd really reccommend this appartment if you are staying in the Sao Vicente area.

Cons: You need to take into account there is not much in walking distance.
