Would highly recommend

Pros: Extremely comfortable B &B. Very accommodating as one of us is vegan. Kitchen and lounge facilities were exceptional and breakfasts were the highlight of our stay.

Understated elegance and charm.

Pros: Everywhere was spacious, light and spotlessly clean. Joao and his mother couldn’t have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. Never have I experienced such magical and imaginatively presented breakfasts. A wonderful place to stay.

Pros: You feel like home, very friendly place, amazing breakfast, great rooms, you have everything you need. The location is great to reach various spots you have little restaurants around, supermarkets and are close to the beach (10’ drive by car)

Cons: There is nothing I could think of

Kind and welcoming host, great location, exceptional breakfast!

Pros: The rooms and living room were spacious and really clean - we felt right at home! We especially loved the breakfast, which was prepared with great care and was super delicious. Our host João encouraged us to take the fruit to the beach and even prepared a small lunch package the next day! The location is also superb as it is close to many beautiful beaches at the west coast and Sagres is also just a 10 min drive. Two big supermarkets are also close by.

Cons: There are 3 rooms at the property on the first floor and a shared kitchen/living room area on the ground floor. It felt a bit weird to share the ground floor with the other rooms as the property had more of a private apartment vibe but with other people. During our stay, the guest in the third room were nice and easygoing but I imagine you could encounter other guest as well so just keep that in mind. Also the walls between the two bedrooms on the left were quite thin. All in all that did not bother us much and we really enjoyed our stay with João.

Pros: Amazing location (close to both the south and west coast, supermarkets and restaurants). Very nice host and amazing breakfast. Clean kitchen with all the appliances you might need.

A wonderful vacation from our vacation.

Pros: I am an American with Italian relatives visiting Portugal for the first time. The excellent reviews were right. We loved staying here. The lodging is spacious, pleasing and clean, but most of all Joao and his mother, Angela, who are from Vila do Bispo, are very welcoming. They gave us great local insights and the abundant, beautiful breakfasts were made from their own garden tomatoes and had an incredible flavor. We had contact with the local culture and learned a lot. The church and Museum in Vila do Bispo are a wonderful surprise. In this small town you are close to beaches, Sagres and lots of sites, but faraway from tourists. Here it was a vacation from our vacation in Portugal. Our favorite experience!

Pros: This place is amazing 😍 It was even better than our expectations. Lovely hosts, always making sure that we feel at home and that we had everything we needed. Extraordinary attention to details to make our stay simply amazing and homely. I really felt like home. Super comfortable environment and with a great taste in the decoration both of the bedroom and the common areas. Absolutely delicious breakfast 😋 with variaty of healthy tasty food of many colours and shapes. Without a doubt one of the best places we've ever been to around the world. 🤩 Congratulations 🎉

Perfect in every way

Pros: Beautiful house and room and all in it. Hosts were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Jao and his mother arrived every morning to prepare the most amazing breakfast - we loved our stay, the accommodation is very central and easy to find in a tastefully renovated building - we would definitely return !

Perfect place

Pros: The accommodation was clean, comfortable and beautifully maintained. It is very convenient for those hiking the Fisherman's Trail. João was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was just perfect ❤️ I highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay.
