Laurus - Charming House

Very charming

Pros: Definitely a charming and lovely place! I really loved staying here, even if it was just for one night. It’s perfect for a peaceful rest, and the breakfast was awesome! There’s not much around, but there’s a really good Greek restaurant nearby. Highly recommend!

Laurus provided the best experience ever for us.

Pros: This accommodation really felt like home. Our room was nice, spacious and incredibly clean. The staff took such good care of us, as if they had known us for many years. They were all very warm, welcoming and gave us a lot of good tips. I am 100% sure our trip wouldn’t have been the same without all the information they provided for us on beaches and local restaurants. I would say the highlight of our stay was Ana’s cooking and her 10/10 breakfasts.

Good experience

Pros: Only 4 rooms, so it does not get crowded. Room No. 4 is superb: big, private and with good sound insulation. Ani is the soul of the house and the breakfast she prepares everyday is delicious! Location is not perfect but is close enough to a number of beaches (and Sagres and Vila do Bispo)

Cons: We caught extremely hot days, so we felt the lack of AC in our room. The lack of a private balcony or terrace in our room didn't help either (although we could use the shared terrace and Ani lent us a fan).

Pros: Really nice and modern rooms with awesome breakfast! Thank you for the great stay!

Lovely country lodgings

Pros: The host provided an amazing breakfast, and worked hard preparing it fresh for everyone. It was a lovely place to stay slightly away from the beaches if you have a car. Highly recommended!

What a gem of a place, highly recommend!

Pros: This place fully deserves a 10 star rating, the hospitality from Sonia and Ana is exceptional. Really spacious room and bathroom, spotlessly clean, very comfy bed and beautifully decorated. But what really stood out was the breakfast, lovingly prepared and delicious!

Amazing experience, I’ll come back for sure. The house and Célia were amazing! :) best stay ever!

Pros: Everything, location, design, cleanliness, breakfast, staff - everything was really perfect! The lady cooking us breakfast in the morning was super caring and made us the best food.

Cons: Bathroom is sort of separated from the room but there is still a hole on top so practically it is in the same space :) it will be a connecting/bonding experience if you come with a partner or friend.

Pros: The breakfasts were very good.The lady who prepares them is passionate about cooking. The room was clean and everything was on the right place. We recomend it in 100%.

A lovely hospitable stay with the yummiest surprise cakes.
