Located in Vila Do Bispo, Algarve, Aldeia Da Pedralva is a resort built from the ruins of a traditional Portuguese village. It features self catering villas and free Wi-Fi in public areas. Reservations from guests under 16 years old who stay alone in our units are not accepted, even with authorization from their legal guardian. Adults accompanied by minors must present authorization signed by the minor's legal guardian, if they are not the father or mother. In groups in which the participants are minors, the person responsible for the group must sign a declaration, under oath, guaranteeing that they have authorization from the legal guardians of all minors in the group to stay in our unit. It is not mandatory to have adults in the rooms, but minors cannot book rooms or dorms without a private bathroom. The use of shared bathrooms by minors is not recommended.

Pros: Great designed and renovated houses. Minimalistic, but very functional equipped.

Cons: Very thin walls, you can hear neighbours talking. Which can be disturbing, if you have different sleeping schedulle.

Pros: Such an amazing village and atmosphere - very authentic! Great story behind it! We checked in late after a long day so didnt get chance to have dinner but breakfast was amazing. House was lovely, easily the coolest place we staying on our portugal tour! Team couldnt do enough! Will definitely recommend and hopefully be back one day

Charming & Serene Village Experience

Pros: We really loved this place. Location is very pretty and quiet. The reconstructed village properties have the feel of a by-gone era, and our room was designed accordingly. Therefore it feels rustic which may not be to everyones tastes but it was really special. It wasn't especially warm in the 3 days we were there (April but many winds and showers) but we were warm enough with the little electric radiators and I am sure more bedding would be available if needed. The staff were very kind and helpful, even helping out when our terrible hire car would not start on departure.. Pool area also looked lovely. Bikes can be hired (although we did not) and there are many lovely walks near by. Felt like a bit of a hidden gem, would certainly return if in the area.

Cons: The kitchen could be better equipped.

Very beautiful but cold

Pros: Very cool concept of giving a new destination to an abandoned village. The staff is great and friendly, the rooms are well renovated and beautifully decorated. And breakfast was also very good.

Cons: Too cold. Only 2 small electric stoves, which definitely don’t do the job in winter time. These houses need a wooden stove or airconditioning for sure. And also a smart tv would be nice in 2025. We hope to come some day, but only in summer time, for now.
