Amoreira House

Pros: First of all I would like to thank to our host Luís. He is so kind, kindhearted and always willing to help. When we arrived he took us to the bar for our first poncha :), he explained to us everything we needed. We always found some surprise - Luís used to gave us so delicious fruits ;) He is the best host we ever had. Apartment is prettier than in the picture with stunning view. In apartment was everything we needed. Everything was clean. I highly recommend this accomodation to everybody ;) Thank you so much ❤️

Perfect place once you figure out to drive there and drive away -

Cons: The location and driving to it was very very challenging. This is a huge issue for less confident drivers

A warm, kind host and a beautiful, scenic place.

Pros: A wonderful host - very welcoming and kind-hearted. A lovely place with a beautiful view. There is parking available on the street near the house. We were also greeted with a treat upon arrival, which was a lovely surprise. Highly recommend.

Pros: We were very lucky to find this place. Luis's hospitality is hard to find words for, we have never been greeted so kindly anywhere. He always made sure we found a parking space. Amazing view, very tidy and cozy. Nothing was missing, Luis took care of everything. Thank you for this experience. ❤️

great apartment with lovely hosts

Pros: the hosts were very kind and friendly and would go out of their way to make you stay very enjoyable. wifi good, nice poncha bar serving excellent food a two minute walk away. lovely quiet location, with great views from the balcony of the ocean, mountains and ravine with birds of prey soaring past. well equipped kitchen and a washing machine/dryer. we look forward to returning to this apartment and meeting luis and his family again.

Comfortable and well-located apartment!

Pros: This lovely apartment is really comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a terrace that we loved so much, with a view on the ocean and sunset during the evenings! I can only recommend this stay. The owner is really nice, friendly, and welcoming. He can share really nice tips and make your stay the best it can be!

Pros: The apartment was perfect for our few days in Calheta, it was so clean with a beautiful view from the balcony, its location is in a lovely quiet area and there is a really nice pub just 1 minute away, the owner Luis was so nice and helpful. The apartment has everything you need to enjoy a few days in Calheta with the beach just a 6 minute drive away. Idyllic

Cons: That we weren't staying a few more days as it was such a great location

A brand new apartment with a lovely view.

Pros: We chose this place to explore the west part of the island and it was a perfect starting point for all the places we wanted to visit. Multiple famous Levadas are only 20 min away by car. Parking was available right in front of the apartment. The place was nice and tidy, everything is practically new. A big plus was the balcony with a lovely view where we enjoyed our dinners during sunset. Special thanks goes to the lovely Luis (owner), who is a really great guy!

Something special

Pros: This is a good property with a great value. Maybe you find others, but having someone like Luis is hard to find. You feel welcomed and like a close guest that comes in visit. Regarding parking, is on the road like most of the parking in Madeira Rooms are bigger than they look in the photos, usually it’s the other way around. There is a bar nearby and if you want to eat around, either a small hike or 5 min by car.
