Overall great but with few minuses

Pros: Overall we really enjoyed the stay in here. Very comfortable cottage for 2 people,. cute vintage style (we had the house at the very top). Very nice communication with the owners. Very quiet sorroundings.

Cons: Garden with the pool is shared with other cottages, not fully private. The same with laundry and coop with hens - we havent found any eggs during our 7 day stay (not a big thing in general but they shouldnt advertise this). Very steep for a car - challenging parking, but we got used to it after a while. A lot of lizards and bugs inside the house (they could sneek even through the closed doors, something to consider if you are afraid of reptiles and bugs - like ants & big centipedes).

Beautiful characteristic place.

Pros: The beautiful spot with flowers and the beautiful house of its self. They even have chickens in the garden.

Cons: The beds were a bit old, just like the rest of the house. But that gives it his characteristic’s. We haven’t slept really good on the mattresses.

Wonderfull cottage on a nice and quite location

Pros: Wonderful stylisch and romantic cottage with everything you need! Stunning views from the balcony and swimmingpool area.

Cons: I am more of hard matress sleeper, so soft toppers are a pain in the back (after a week)

A beautiful cottage that is remote but very pleasant.

Pros: The location is amazing although very remote! Be prepared for windy and steep roads. It has some wonderful views and the pool area is really relaxing. The fire place makes it very cosy and nice. The sleeping area, shower and facilities are all great. It’s a wonderful get away!

Cons: The furniture in the living area is quite dated and could do with an upgrade. It’s full of antiques which doesn’t suite my personal taste. I think the cottage vibes speak for itself without needing old paintings and other things in the space.

A beautiful stay in a beautiful home, wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Pros: The character of the property and all the finishes made it feel like a home away from home. The location and view from the property.

Nice apartment with amazing view

Pros: Excellent location for those who want to get out of the big city, and enjoy nature and peace. The neighborhood was very quiet and the view was breathtaking. The apartment and the garden of it are amazing. The stay was clean, well-maintained, and equipped. The have a smart TV, thus you can stream movies during the evenings! :D We spent an amazing time there, definitely would go there again!

Cons: Reaching the location of the apartment is not the easiest task, the road is very small and very very steep. The parking was quite difficult. I would suggest renting an automatic gear car, although the clutch of the car is going to have a rough time :D On first the day the smell of the apartment was a bit stinky and needed a lot of airing (the doors and windows were almost always opened )

Een rustige en idyllische plek uit de buurt van het drukke Funchal.

Pros: Het was een gezellig huisje, gelegen in het rustige westen van Madeira. We hebben heerlijk geslapen en wat opviel was de rust de stilte.

romantisch, gemütlich

Pros: Ein wunderschöner, ruhiger Ort. Der Westen ist eindeutig der schönste Ort der Insel! Mit dem Auto ist man überall rasch. Das beste in der Unterkunft ist der Kamin, den man selbst einheizt, das Haushuhn, dem man die Reste vorbeibringt, die liebevolle Einrichtung und das schöne Pool. Empfehlenswert!

Sehr süßes Cottage für einen ruhigen Madeira-Urlaub!

Pros: Ganz liebevoll eingerichtetes kleines „Cottage“ im Nordwesten von Madeira! Dadurch ist es super leise gewesen & ganz ruhig, abseits von Tourismus. Gleichzeitig hat man dadurch etwas längere Fahrzeiten in jegliche Richtungen. Ein super schöner Ausblick auf‘s Meer von der Terrasse & das Haus hat alles, was man braucht.

Cons: Die Unterkunft liegt mitten auf einem Hang, was zu einem sehr (!) steilen Anfahrtsweg führt. Wir sind immer von oben kommend zur Unterkunft gefahren, das war deutlich einfacher. leider war die Wohnung in den Details nicht super sauber: die Küchenzeile war etwas klebrig/schmierig, sodass wir uns etwas Putzzeug im Supermarkt besorgten & nochmal drüber gewischt haben. Das Klima auf Madeira sorgte dafür, dass die Handtücher leider nicht so gut trockneten, sodass sie sehr schnell sehr klamm waren & muffelig rochen. Dies liegt ja nicht an der Unterkunft selbst!
