Dazk Golden Estate

Pros: Great facilities, the gardens are amazing, feeling like you are staying in a botanical garden, staff really nice. Jacuzzi and Manny balconies.

Cons: Room is small but compared to the other things, it's really OK

Pros: Beautiful garden and view spots. Many spots to sit and relax with good ambiance. Great views. Nice sauna. Good communication. Nice restaurant, very comfortable.

Pros: Stunning place. Can't fault it. We only stayed one night, unfortunately. Would definitely visit again

Second stay - still lovely, still highly recommended. However, room for improvement in some areas

Pros: I stayed here again at the beginning of the Year and once more really enjoyed the atmosphere. The combination of nature, views and comfort is still special, and the setting remains one of the highlights of my stay in Madeira. The value for money is really good. Very friendly and helpful staff, as well as a brilliant swimming pool and small spa area.

Cons: However, this time I had some issues with the parking situation. Even though the resort was not fully booked, it was sometimes difficult to find an available parking space. The layout is quite tight and the logistics don’t seem very well thought out, which makes parking unnecessarily stressful. Unfortunately, during my stay I even damaged my car. While it was partly my own fault, the narrow and poorly organized parking area definitely contributed to the situation. This was frustrating, especially at a place that otherwise feels relaxed.

Extraordinary place high above Ribeira Brava

Pros: This place certainly makes a change from the usual sterile hotels, the restaurant is good for an evening curry and breakfast fine. Pool and Jacuzzi is a bonus.

Cons: The pool was very cold for our stay in December, but still nice for a quick dip.

Pros: Breakfast was great. Beautiful garden with orchids. Room equipped with air conditioning and air drying system

Cons: Poor signage outside to find the location and right parking

Tropical vibes and resort style accommodation

Pros: We stayed for 7 nights. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed especially in the wetter season (heater, dehumidifier, hairdryer). The real win is being able to enjoy the facilities of the beautiful property built against the hill, full of quirky design touches reminiscent of Thailand and Indonesia. There's lots of tropical green and stunning views of the ocean. There's a bar and restaurant downstairs that we ate at 3 out of 7 nights. Nothing super special, but very convenient. We also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi upstairs and breakfast. If you have your own wheels, the location is convenient to many different places on the island. About 5 min from the nearest town Ribeira Brava, which has restaurants and shops. In short, great value for the price we paid.

Cons: The breakfast felt a little expensive (eur 15 pp) for what was offered.

Pros: The view is standing and really relaxing in the sauna, jacuzzi and pool. The place is very clean and nice with all the asian details.

Cons: The room was a bit smaller than we thought, but the terras in front was really nice! Nice heater in the shower and aircon in the room.

Pros: Asian influenced plantation with rooms for rent. Awesome views from the pool and jacuzzy. Great restaurant.

Cons: Small room, but for 79euro/night price quality is great.

Great place for the price

Pros: Great price quality. Pool, sauna, jacuzy for 80euros per night
